If you have the time, look at what other countries, specifically those that were thought to be our Allies, are saying about the United States of America! It is not flattering, even though some of those world leaders do flatter Trump to his face! Why? Because they know they can get major concessions from him if they tell him how great he is! But when NATO gets together, they do not wait on our President anymore.
Trump, since taking office this second time, has fired most of the military leaders with the most expertise! He has replaced them with loyalists, people with no expertise in the areas of the leaders they are replacing. Point in fact, General Timothy Haugh, who was the Director of the National Security Agency, and the Commander of U.S. Cyber Command until he was dismissed by Trump. Why, because he was appointed initially by Biden, so the right did not think he would be a Trump loyalist! Cyber experts warned we were rolling out the red carpet for attacks, especially by Russia! He had over 30 years of experience, and we are weakened by his departure. He also had worked for both Democratic and Republican Presidents and was not political!
If you are paying attention, the same thing has happened to every agency and organization within Trump’s thrall! The World Health Organization, Department of Education, the Council on Homelessness, Voice of America, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, amongst a plethora of others! Why you ask, because they either place a light on the scams of this president, allow health organizatons to charge us more, or contain the greed of large corporations from polluting as they wish by destroying habitat, clogging our air, stream, rivers, and ocean with their waste, as Trump has weakened the rules and laws that control this kind of pollution! He has withdrawn from the Climate and Clean Air Coalition, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Environment Program, basically anything that limits big business from making more profit at the expense of our health and well-being.
Trump and his new Department of War and Hegseth are war criminals. Trump is not allowed to declare war, that is a power exclusively granted to Congress. Even if I believed that he was waging war on drug cartels by killing people and sinking boats, he is not showing cause! And let’s say that these boats, which have not got the reach to get to our shores, by the way, were captured instead of blown out of the water, would we not get a whole hell of a lot more information to be used against cartels!
I could go on, but I know when I have reached the limit of how much the more loyal of my readers will go! Just be aware that what is happening is not normal, and I have not even mentioned the masked men ripping people out of schools, their homes, jobs, and off the streets with no probable cause and sending them to foreign prisons without trial or even a hearing. That is not deportation, that is kidnapping and concentration camps!
Trump’s proposal to erect a Tariff wall, promising billions of dollars and a wealthier nation, is a contradiction in itself. The following is an excerpt from a reliable source, Heather Cox Richardson.
“This is a deliberate lie. Tariffs are essentially taxes on imported products, and they are paid not by foreign countries but by American consumers. Economists warn that Trump’s tariff plan would cost a typical family an average of more than $2,600 a year, with poorer families hardest hit; spike inflation as high as 20%; result in 50,000 to 70,000 fewer jobs created each month; slow economic growth; and add about $5.8 trillion in deficits over ten years. It would tank an economy that under the Biden administration, which has used tariffs selectively to protect new industries and stop unfair trade practices, has boomed.”
Back to John Love! Tariffs over the years have always been bad for you and me, the consumer! Largely responsible for the famous Wall Street Crash and the main reason for the Great Depression! Trump is looking out for Trump, plain and simple, in everything he does. Tariffs do have their uses. They can be used to protect American jobs and manufacturing, but they must be used in specific ways, like surgery, never as a tariff wall. As was mentioned above, between the quotation marks!
Trump has told so many lies during this election campaign that even the most ardent Trump supporter cannot be unaware! Just common sense will tell you that no one brought over-the-border illegals to vote in any election. For one, it is a federal crime; two, all kinds of false documentation would be needed for each individual, requiring a vast manufacturing structure impossible to conceal. Plus, red states would be all over any such activity, and we would know about it. Actually, so would blue states; as I said, it is a federal crime; Trump lies every day, multiple times a day; it is who he is. We cannot have such a morally corrupt man in the white house. He is also not an educated man; just open your ears and listen to him speak! He only took real estate classes at Wharton and was even refused entrance for lack of grades until his brother interceded. Why do you think he has threatened to sue anyone for releasing his grades? Think about it!
Trump says that virtually 100 percent of the new jobs under Biden have gone to illegal aliens. Did you know that? A hundred percent! Aside from being impossible even to try such a feat, it just isn’t factual! Trump lies!
Trump repeatedly labeled Biden as “corrupt” — but he applied the same charge to MSNBC, the 2020 elections, the judge in a libel case Trump lost, the judge in a business fraud case Trump lost, the prosecutor in a pending Georgia case, New York state and finally the entire United States. Trump is a felon, his trials had a jury of regular citizens, none associated with any branch of government or justice system. Trump is a liar!
Trump claims that the Democrats, and specifically the state of New York, are passing a bill to allow the execution of babies after they are born! You must be mentally disturbed to believe such a lie! Such a thing is illegal in every state, and no state is trying to kill babies after they are born. He also claims that Harris is all for it! That is untrue, Harris does want Roe v Wade back! Trump is a liar!
Trump claims that Biden is forcing all boat manufacturers to go totally electric. He further claims that electric boats would sink from all the weight. There are electric boats that float just fine and are very, very fast. They are mostly experimental, but Trump’s science is just not factual or true! Trump is a liar!
Trump claimed both Biden and Harris wanted to raise the retirement age. Biden did bring it up when he was a senator but has opposed it as President. Harris never wanted it and never discussed it! Trump is a liar!
Trump claims that Harris wants to outlaw red meat. What was said is that she would like to encourage people to eat less red meat but that she likes a good cheeseburger herself. Trump is a liar!
Trump has claimed for months that Biden was secretly behind all his legal troubles; now he claims it was Harris. In fact, it was civilians who had no part in government who indicted him and subsequently found him guilty on 34 counts, notwithstanding his legal troubles over trying to influence people to illegally find votes or trying to change the electorate votes. Trump is a liar!
Trump now claims that Harris is the border czar. Harris was never in charge of the border, her assigned job was to lead the diplomacy efforts with El Salvador, Guatemala, and Hondurasin an attempt to address the conditions that prompted their citizens to try to migrate to the United States in the first place! Trump is always a liar!
Deaths from any kind of drug was around 107,000 according to the CDC, not the three million that Trump claimed was fentanyl that came over the border. Most fentanyl deaths are from legal prescription drugs that the patient overdosed on. And most illegal fentanyl comes through legal ports of entry smuggled by U.S. citizens. Trump is a liar!
Trumps claim that Harris is against all Jews is laughable as she is married to a Jewish man! Trump is a liar!
Trump claimed that Harris, a lawyer who was elected as San Francisco’s district attorney and then as California’s attorney general, “failed her law exams and continued to say she couldn’t pass her bar exams. She couldn’t pass anything. Couldn’t pass everything. She couldn’t pass anything, he chanted. She failed her first bar exam attempt and got it on the second try. She is one of the highest-rated attorneys in the country, but Trump is, of course, a liar! Oh, and not overly bright, either! It is probably one of the reasons he is such a habitual liar; he does not know many facts, so he just claims to know instead! But he has to hold the world record for lying in public with a straight face. But fact check any speech he has ever given, any speech; it will have multiple lies included every time!
If I can see it, you certainly should. I did not go to school for more than a couple of months a year until the sixth grade. I still took time off for jobs sweeping up after school lunch in order to afford to eat! So that made me late to math class in the seventh grade because it was right after lunch, and I had to wait until the cafeteria was vacated before I could sweep up and empty trash cans. Math was my hardest class, so not really a good thing! I also left early before school finished at the end of the 6th grade because I got a job with a sheep farmer herding 3000 critters for the summer, and the drive started a couple of weeks before school let out. On the drive, I was in charge of the pack string. After we got up to the target meadows in the high country, my 13-year-old self and a 14-year-old were left in charge of 3000 sheep for the summer. So until I moved to Council Idaho and the eighth grade, that was the first time I actually went to a whole year of school.
I tell you this because I had to work hard to catch up to my classmates in Council, who were way above average, as it turned out. I had no parents, but that was not as much of a disadvantage as you might think. I ran away from my stepfather and birth mother at age eleven and convinced a step relative to hide my sister and I. Long story short, this was accomplished, and my sister and I were farmed out to other step-relatives. That was another nightmare we will not go into. A school teacher from Council knew of my predicament and managed to get me away from these people just as I was ready to flee again and move me to Council, where I stayed with them for three years. I then moved into the town Doctors home during my junior year in high school. By the time I graduated, I had become an A-average student, been a class president, a two-time editor of the school paper, captain of an undefeated football team, and on the Student Council. So a fairly successful transition!
While in college, I ran out of money; even though I was working in the woods for Boise Cascade summers by then, it was not enough. Doctor Edwards was planning on putting me through college, but I, for some reason, had not figured on that, so since there was a draft, I took a series of tests and qualified for a guaranteed posting in aviation. I selected the Marines because you could get a four-year posting, whereas the Air Force wanted six. I did not like the navy uniform or serving at sea, so the Marines won. A day into boot camp and I was kicking my ass for that decision! But glad I did it afterward!
I made it through aviation electronics school and was assigned to work on EA6A Grumman Intruders, a computer warfare aircraft. I wound up in VMCJ-1, two tours in Nam in what was called Linebacker II operations out of Da Nang. I also spent a lot of time in Japan and the Philippines, so not all work and no play. After four years, I got out of the Marines as a Sgt. and returned to school. Got factory trained by GM, got rated as a Delco Tech, and Master Mechanic with an Advanced Engine System degree. Got my smog license and specialized in five-gas analysis on a dyno! Mr. Pratt probably rolled over in his grave to find out I actually made a living with physics and chemistry! I did that for the same company for 29 years as their lead tech, shop foreman, and service manager. I then went to work for a group of five Bobcat dealerships as a service manager and sometimes shop foreman when needed. I retired after a six-year stint.
Since then, I have written a published novel called Shipp; The Alien Wars of Earth. I am now writing a sequel. I write a blog, called the Love Chronicles, which a lot of you probably wish I did not as I am a political activist, or at least think I am! I guess telling you I write a blog is superfluous as you are reading it now!
But I tell all of you this to demonstrate that if an old Marine with no big-name college degrees can look at a man and immediately see the liar, the immoral person, the thief, the cheat, and the fact that he is a narcissistic egomaniac, you my audience should also easily see this! I should not even have to name this person; every one of you should know exactly who I am talking about!
The failure of the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to build an international coalition to combat the coronavirus is a lasting failure! The damage to America’s standing, influence, and power in the world by weakening the system of partnerships and alliances the country has created and relied on for decades may take many decades to repair. Since the start of his presidency, Trump has abandoned multiple treaties and agreements, undermined the credibility of U.S. defense agreements, bullied and belittled allies, and kissed the asses of dictators who threaten both our allies and the United States. And now he is running for President again with multiple criminal investigations going on! Including incitement to violence against our own government, which you can hear with your own ears if you look for it! Tried to have a legitimate election overthrown; again, you can hear him with your own ears if you just spent five minutes looking for it. I could go on, but I will leave you with this last tidbit, and I will shut up. There was multiple investigations into illegal voting during this last Presidential election. Most of them were sponsored by the GOP. None found anything. As a matter of fact, when more votes were found, they were for Biden, not Trump, and this from GOP-driven investigations in Arizona! Even Trump’s attorney general stated there was no election fraud that would have even attributed minutely to a different outcome!
Pay attention to the speeches even now being given by Trump because, again, the truth is an elusive critter in his world. Do you really want this man to be your guy?
I am going to try a little honesty here! I grew up all over the western United States. Lived in an affluent Beverly Hills location when my father was healthy and working for Hollywood Technicolor Corp. When he got sick and was hospitalized we moved to a one-bedroom in Venice just off the canals. When my stepfather came into the picture I was basically a migrant worker. Picked all kinds of crops all over California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Never went to school during that time! I finally found a home in Council Idaho at 14 after having run away from my stepfather and mother when I was 11, never to return! But that is another really strange story. I had a run of good luck in Council! Rescued by a teacher there, and then later taken in by the town Doctor and his family.
I ran out of money in college, there was a draft on, so joined the Marines for more years than required after taking some tests and being guaranteed aviation training. I wound up doing two tours in Nam and other Westpac locations as a result. So my point is, I probably did choose the Marines due to small-town Idaho patriotism! But my time in Nam had nothing to do with patriotism. I did love my job working out of the Aviation Electric Shop on a computer warfare bird. But my main goal was to stay alive and keep my crew alive as I was a Sgt for most of my time in Nam, and that is about it. I never really gave a whole lot of thought about how patriotic it was! I had seen things that did not make me all that proud by this time! I will always be a Marine, but with a final secret clearance, I was privy to things we did that were not the flag-waving patriotic things I had come to expect. I got spit on at the San Francisco airport in full uniform upon my return! I almost lost it were it not for a couple sailors who calmed me down. But after reflection, no one owes me anything for serving as far as the American people go! But I think a house and an education were the least the government should have been responsible to supply to any combat veteran. I am not talking about a VA loan or help with the cost of education. I am talking about absolutely free of charge! But that is just me and my opinion talking!
But I digress. Flag-waving is fine in some circumstances! But we as a nation have been at war for 225 of the 243 years since its inception in 1776! And I hate to burst any bubbles here, but it was only rarely to free a subjugated people in need! No, mostly it was a fight for power, oil, and other resources we thought we needed to have to keep us in global power! So when you exercise your right to vote, your only real power, know your history, the real history, and make your vote count for something.
Our education rating among the top nations is absolutely horrendous! A large segment of Americans distrusts science and education! That, my friends, will be our downfall! I will not go into how we here in the U.S. actually spend way more on healthcare than nations who provide it as a service to their citizens! A fight for another blog!
So we need to get back to actually educating our youth to compete in the world of tomorrow. And just as important, the truth in media should be a law, with punishment meted out for even distorting the truth. And when it is a mistake, fine, but it should be corrected on the front page, so to speak, where the disinformation was disseminated in the first place!
Covid-19 and the variants that have erupted all over the globe I would rate as #1 in disasters that occurred last year, among many, some of which I will elaborate on in this blog! One of the worst things associated with covid-19 is the misinformation that has primarily been championed by those in the GOP! One example is Twitter has permanently suspended the personal account of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), saying last Sunday that the congresswoman repeatedly violated the company’s covid-19 misinformation policy. Her account has been frozen temporarily a couple of times for spreading falsehoods about covid-19! She has claimed that covid is not dangerous to anyone under the age of 65 who is not obese! The last claim that got her permanently banned from Twitter was her claim that the vaccine kills, in large numbers, those that took it! There is no study and no reports that any such thing has ever happened anywhere, she made it up! She claims that Twitter, among others, is an evil organization that is dangerous to America. She and others like her are the real danger!
So we enter another year! Let’s hope it is better than the last, yes?
Next on my list is the non-existent voter fraud, and the voter rights suppression going on in GOP-controlled states. Voter fraud has been investigated extensively, mostly at the behest of Trump! He cannot accept he lost, as his mental impairment will not allow such a thought to occur! Even in states that favored Trump, like Arizona, for example, every recount actually found even more votes for Joe Biden! Even his own man Attorney General Barr stated there was no voter fraud, yet Trump to this day is still trumpeting that message and is believed by millions even when all the evidence by every investigation says otherwise. This, to me, says a lot about Americans and who we are as a nation! I am a Marine Sgt who served two tours in Nam, which does not make me a patriot, but it does give me the right to be angry when my fellow Americans cannot tell when a lie is being fomented for political gain, and yes, power! Especially when their leader, Trump, is a proven liar, an abuser of women bragged about from his own lips! Do I need to mention the 26 women who have accused him of sexual assault? Or that he will not allow his academic grades to be released! If he is a genius as he claims, why would he not want that? He also does not want his taxes examined, and I say, for the same reason he does not want his grades looked at! They would reveal he is hiding the truth, in this case his criminal activity, as some already have! Lastly, and I will shut up about Trump, he is a racist, and again condemned by his own remarks. A long list, including being sued by the federal govt. for discrimination against people of color in his own business dealings! Twice!
We have a whole section of our population that has always been racist, but now they think they can be open and in your face about it. You only need to look at GOP re-districting and recent laws passed to see who benefits. It is never anyone with any kind of color to his or her skin other than white! I said I would not mention a certain person again, so anyone who does not know who fanned the flames must live in a cave, in the dark, blaming any and all immigrants for his or her plight!
I was born in a hospital in Hollywood, lived in Beverley Hills at the time as Dad worked for Hollywood Technicolor Corp. But he died when I was very young, mom made some really bad decisions about men, and I wound up in Idaho picking pretty much anything that grew in a field or in a tree. So, most of my younger life I spent in Idaho. I had run away just before my 12th birthday. Spent a couple of years with an evangelical family, then made plans to get the hell out of there. A teacher from Council who knew about me convinced me not to try taking off on my own, that she was working on getting me and my sister, who was with a different evangelical family, into her custody. So I spent my formative years in Idaho and I can still see bullshit walking and talking! I am still talking about he who cannot be named! My point is, I love the people from my Idaho hometown. I disagree with some politically, but as I know them to be people who would give you the shirt off of their back if you did not have one and they had a spare! So it is not a good versus bad situation. It is a bad information situation. I am convinced of this. I watch Fox News all the time, just so I can investigate if what they say is true. Now I am not talking about listening to some other station or talking head. I am talking about live footage from a meeting, a live conversation, or watching C-SPAN, to see a live accounting. Fox News lies, all the time. And it is very popular where I come from! They supported the Pizza Gate fiasco where supposedly Hillary Clinton was selling young girls out of the basement of a pizza business. Info Wars and Alex Jones jumped on that, claiming to have proof, and a young man shot up a pizza joint where this was supposedly happening, but realized their were no girls, as a matter of fact, no basement! All too many people believed this. Currently those same people also believe that covid-19 and the variants are some kind of scam by a cabal of the far left. That the vaccines are killing people in large numbers, that it is no worse than a cold, and the vaccines were manufactured to put microchips in our bodies to control or spy on us. You say, but I did not believe that, but way to many of your neighbors did and you said nothing!
Violence, it has always been a problem, but it is growing in intensity by leaps and bounds. A person we all know, a person who cannot be named, championed violence from his bully pulpit! You can find instances of this in live video easily; you do not have to take my word! White Supremacy was given legitimacy, encouraged to riot, and even attack our capital. Of course, certain GOP members claimed that it was BLM and Antifa radicals claiming to be white power groups like the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, and QAnon! When the Justice Dept and the FBI found proof that these aforementioned groups were actually the real culprits, then certain prominent GOP members claimed they were being persecuted and were just exercising their rights, no matter that they destroyed property inside the White House, attacked and even killed police!
I say we need to open our eyes, forget politics and start using our brain-housing group for more than just a hat rack. You cannot, in the name of Christianity, condone murder, attacks on women, racism, and hatred of groups, unlike yourselves. If you do, then you are no better than the radicals who have corrupted the Quran for power and extremism. Evil is evil in any guise!
The following will be excerpts from an article penned by Mr. Peter Wehner, a lifelong Republican. He is a fellow at the Ethics & Public Policy Center.
He writes, Trump is fundamentally unfit—intellectually, morally, temperamentally, and psychologically—for office. Mr. Trump has no desire to acquaint himself with most issues, let alone master them!
Mr. Trump’s virulent combination of ignorance, emotional instability, demagogy, solipsism, and vindictiveness would do more than result in a failed presidency; it could very well lead to national catastrophe. The prospect of Donald Trump as commander in chief should send a chill down the spine of every American.
He states that Trump could not have prevented the coronavirus from happening or entering the United States. That said, the president and his administration are responsible for grave, costly errors, most especially the epic manufacturing failures in diagnostic testing, the decision to test too few people, the delay in expanding testing to labs outside the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and problems in the supply chain.
The president reportedly ignored early warnings of the severity of the virus and grew angry at a CDC official who in February warned that an outbreak was inevitable. The Trump administration dismantled the National Security Council’s global-health office, whose purpose was to address global pandemics; we’re now paying the price for that. “We worked very well with that office,” Dr. Fauci told Congress. “It would be nice if the office was still there.”
The president’s misinformation and mendacity about the coronavirus are head-snapping. He claimed that it was contained in America when it was actually spreading. He claimed that we had “shut it down” when we had not. He claimed that testing was available when it wasn’t. He claimed that the coronavirus will one day disappear “like a miracle”; it won’t. He claimed that a vaccine would be available in months; Fauci says it will not be available for a year or more.
This from me, the lies just keep on coming!
From the article, Trump falsely blamed the Obama administration for impeding coronavirus testing. He stated that the coronavirus first hit the United States later than it actually did. (He said that it was three weeks prior to the point at which he spoke; the actual figure was twice that.) The president claimed that the number of cases in Italy was getting “much better” when it was getting much worse. And in one of the more stunning statements an American president has ever made, Trump admitted that his preference was to keep a cruise ship off the California coast rather than allowing it to dock because he wanted to keep the number of reported cases of the coronavirus artificially low! Cooler heads prevailed, and over the president’s objections, the Grand Princess was allowed to dock at the Port of Oakland.
The following excerpt is one I have long agreed with and promoted in my blogs, on Facebook, Twitter, and anyone I could get to listen. Here is what Peter Wehner had to say;
Trump is such a habitual liar that he is incapable of being honest, even when being honest would serve his interests. He is so impulsive, shortsighted, and undisciplined that he is unable to plan or even think beyond the moment. He is such a divisive and polarizing figure that he long ago lost the ability to unite the nation under any circumstances and for any cause. And he is so narcissistic and unreflective that he is completely incapable of learning from his mistakes. The president’s disordered personality makes him ill-equipped to deal with a crisis as any president has ever been. With few exceptions, what Trump has said is not just useless; it is downright injurious.

From the first time I saw Trump in action, long before he became President of these United States, I saw him as an immoral con man. He was always suing someone or being sued, more than any professional entity ever in history! He mostly threatened to sue because he had not paid his debts, knew that a lengthy lawsuit would ruin the people he owed, so he was able to get them to agree to pennies on the dollar for their debt! He has done this time and time again. He has also been sued by the federal govt for refusing to sell or rent to people of color, with his Daddy once, and Donald himself twice! He has cheated on each wife! Usually with the next wife, and the current one (The First Lady) with a porn star while she was pregnant with their son! He has had black people removed from the floor of his casino while he and his wife were there, made remarks in public about how blacks could not help it, they just were not equipped to handle anything complicated. And this is the guy you voted for? This is the guy you think is your moral compass. This is the guy you think has been sent by God to save you? Well, my friends, you are just not thinking. And what your support says about you is not flattering, by any definition!
