  1. At a recent campaign rally, Donald Trump added a new line to his standard message. Unfortunately, it involved the president attacking a pending piece of legislation that exists only in his imagination. I quote; “Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate has signed up for the open borders – and it’s a bill. And it’s called The Open Borders Bill. What’s going on? And it’s written by – guess who – Dianne Feinstein.” No such bill exists written by anyone, this is just what he does, all the time. But you say he doesn’t lie! Well, he is either a liar or he is mentally afflicted! Trump also has an unnerving talent for repeating conversations that actually never happened, but he believes they did! Also indicative of serious mental problems!

  1. Trump; “I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down, and I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.” There are several easy reasons why this is a lie. Thousands gathered where, and no else saw them, and how did they know to gather. Plus there are several factual events that Trump attended during that time period that would have put him where he would not have been able to witness this even if it had happened! An event everyone else in the world missed, by the way! Trump did claim to have also viewed the archival footage, footage I might add no one has ever been able to find! The man just lies and does not even have the sense to lie well. But yet you say you have never heard him lie? Well, then you have never heard him speak!

  1. Trump; “The Obama administration is bringing a quarter-million Syrians into the country.” “Refugees are pouring into our great country from Syria. We don’t even know who they are. They could be ISIS. They could be anybody.” In fact, the U.S. has resettled fewer than 2,000 refugees from Syria, out of the millions of people displaced by a civil war that started years ago. In a country of 322 million people, 500 refugees a year is better described as a trickle. The idea that “we don’t even know who they are” is laughable, considering the much-publicized vetting process that requires refugees to wait up to 18 months and to pass multiple background and health checks before gaining admission.

  1. Trump claimed that 81 percent of white murder victims are killed by black people, and 97 percent of all black murder victims are killed by black people. The actual fact of the matter is more than 80 percent of white murder victims are killed by other whites. If you look at any statistic Trump has given concerning black people they have all been totally false, every time! What does that tell you?

  1. He and Vladimir Putin are buddiesTrump said: “I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes, we were stablemates and we did very well that night.” Trump and Vladimir Putin did, indeed, appear on the show on the same night. But Trump is clearly implying that the two bonded over the experience. However, both men appeared in pre-taped segments. Trump was recorded in his New York office. Putin was in Moscow. Trump didn’t meet Putin! And why is it that you still think Trump does not lie all the damn time?

  1. Trump; China is the big winner in the Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership. The Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal “was designed for China to come in through the back door and totally take advantage of everyone,” and currency manipulation “is not even discussed.”Trump was corrected by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) who noted that China is not a party to TPP. However, that’s not the only thing about what Trump said that was false. The TPP was released simultaneously with an agreement on, you guessed it, currency manipulation, which was lauded by trade expertsas a historic achievement that met the goals Congress had set for the president’s negotiators. So, that’s really a twofer.

Look, I could go on for hours here, but you would not bother so I will leave off. I chose these items because any fact checking at all will easily reveal these lies! There are thousands of examples of Trumps lies, his cheating on his wives while still married to them, forget the porn stars! People in business he has cheated, federal lawsuits, twice actually, for discrimination, the list goes on and on and on. DO YOU GET IT NOW?

I gleaned a lot of this from the link below. I did a fact check on my own, and so can you! Oh, and look at the dates, he hadn’t even gotten wound up on most of these! Except for the #1 example, which is current, these are just a few of the lies he told you that got him elected! His lies have gotten way worse over time, and his facts, we don’t need no stinking facts!

There are several reasons that the answer is highly educated may make you liberal, not the college experience per say! The conservative mantra that colleges are nothing more than evil liberal training grounds is a political move. It gives their base someone to hate for their plight, along with immigrants and people of color being the reason for all of the ills in life confronting them!

One of the reasons is, as you get more educated, you are introduced to a wider variety of cultures that you might have been afforded living in a microcosm before college. Your parent’s friends would tend to only be people who mirrored themselves! They would also tend to live in communities that also mirrored their belief system if possible. It is also true that high school students who are liberal tend to also go to college in much greater numbers! Hence a more liberal college population results! It has nothing to do with the college experience itself in that case.

Another possibility might be the growing numbers of women getting college degrees. Women, in general, tend to vote with the Democratic Party more than men. So as the population of highly educated people grew more female, that may have swung it left.

Third, the mainstream population that is conservative tends to be less educated! They do not tend to trend towards the highly educated or attend college, 31 percent of people with post-grad educations are consistently liberal, compared to 5 percent of those with high school educations or less according to the poll I saw! My own research tends to tell me this is factual even if the figures are not exact! Take that as you will, but it was not meant as any kind of detrimental slight! I myself have no college degree. I have gone to college a lot off and on, been to and graduated from several trade schools, let the military educate me to work on computer warfare aircraft in avionics, but basically, I am self-educated. I am liberal in case there was some doubt, but I have no formal college degree!

Yes, rich kids tend to be conservative also, and yes they tend to get educated, but they also tend to stay away from science-related pursuits! They tend to favor education that will help guarantee them a lifetime of successful avenues to get money and to keep it. Ok, not a sin, but you take a look at your GOP Senators, for example. A lot of lawyers, business majors, etc., you find not many scientists among them, no evolutionary biologists, no paleontologists, no teachers, you see where I am going. So you tend to only get a House or Senate with people of one mindset in that party. The other side of the aisle has a tendency to also come from that same background I freely admit that! You will find in the Democratic Party, however, more than a few with degrees in education, or science degrees, way more than you will in the GOP.

Also, if you are religious, especially those influenced by evangelicals, you will, even though highly educated, shy away from any form of study that makes you uncomfortable with what your Bible teaches! So we tend to have a lot of politicians who have absolutely no background in science as it makes them uncomfortable. It also makes them dangerous when it comes to being put in charge of entities whose whole being is based on science. NASA and the EPA are prime examples. You can talk about big government and over-regulation all you want, but big government is what you have right now under the current administration, and getting bigger and narrower in its scope and understanding every day!

These are a few ideas that have come out of this administration. Radiation is good for you, just like sunlight as long as it is moderate! Asbestos, one of our biggest killers, is safe! Dumping into streams and rivers is ok again! The clean air initiative is too extreme, so just get rid of it altogether. Oh, and let’s sue any state that still wants to make clean air a priority! Some GOP states have actually made mentioning climate change illegal; one has stated that you cannot connect rising sea level data to any study of climate change, even though their coastlines are in extreme danger! The white house has actually instructed that anything to do with climate change should just be ignored!
Is this really what you want? Sure the government is full of red tape and it is cumbersome and that does need to be fixed. But these cuts in protections all have one thing in common, a greater profit margin for big business and no concern for health issues. That cannot be the standard!

So, my point is, getting educated in itself tends to make you liberal, it is not that colleges are some kind of evil cabal indoctrinating our youth, they are just thinking for themselves, which has never been good for conservatives. Red states tend to be less educated with a poorer population on average! They also tend to be in need of more welfare than blue states, so why would they want to leave control in their state to the GOP whose leadership is responsible for the condition they find themselves in! Well, in this case, I say they are the ones being indoctrinated, why else would they vote against their own well-being!

I will not go into any moral issues I have with the President and the GOP, as they are more numerous than snowflakes in a blizzard! I just have to believe we will come to our senses at some point!

The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers.I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

President Trump is facing a test of his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.

It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.
The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

I would know. I am one of them.
To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.
But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.

That is why many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office.

The root of the problem is the president’s amorality. Anyone who works with him knows he is not moored to any discernible first principles that guide his decision making.

Although he was elected as a Republican, the president shows little affinity for ideals long espoused by conservatives: free minds, free markets, and free people. At best, he has invoked these ideals in scripted settings. At worst, he has attacked them outright. In addition to his mass-marketing of the notion that the press is the “enemy of the people,” President Trump’s impulses are generally anti-trade and anti-democratic.
Don’t get me wrong. There are bright spots that the near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration fails to capture: effective deregulation, historic tax reform, a more robust military and more.
But these successes have come despite — not because of — the president’s leadership style, which is impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective.
From the White House to executive branch departments and agencies, senior officials will privately admit their daily disbelief at the commander in chief’s comments and actions. Most are working to insulate their operations from his whims.

Meetings with him veer off topic and off the rails, he engages in repetitive rants, and his impulsiveness results in half-baked, ill-informed and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back.
“There is literally no telling whether he might change his mind from one minute to the next,” a top official complained to me recently, exasperated by an Oval Office meeting at which the president flip-flopped on a major policy decision he’d made only a week earlier.

The erratic behavior would be more concerning if it weren’t for unsung heroes in and around the White House. Some of his aides have been cast as villains by the media. But in private, they have gone to great lengths to keep bad decisions contained to the West Wing, though they are clearly not always successful.

It may be cold comfort in this chaotic era, but Americans should know that there are adults in the room. We fully recognize what is happening. And we are trying to do what’s right even when Donald Trump won’t.
The result is a two-track presidency.
Take foreign policy: In public and in private, President Trump shows a preference for autocrats and dictators, such as President Vladimir Putin of Russia and North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, and displays little genuine appreciation for the ties that bind us to allied, like-minded nations.

Astute observers have noted, though, that the rest of the administration is operating on another track, one where countries like Russia are called out for meddling and punished accordingly, and where allies around the world are engaged as peers rather than ridiculed as rivals.
On Russia, for instance, the president was reluctant to expel so many of Mr. Putin’s spies as punishment for the poisoning of a former Russian spy in Britain. He complained for weeks about senior staff members letting him get boxed into further confrontation with Russia, and he expressed frustration that the United States continued to impose sanctions on the country for its malign behavior. But his national security team knew better — such actions had to be taken, to hold Moscow accountable.
This isn’t the work of the so-called deep state. It’s the work of the steady state.

Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president. But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. So we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until — one way or another — it’s over.
The bigger concern is not what Mr. Trump has done to the presidency but rather what we as a nation have allowed him to do to us. We have sunk low with him and allowed our discourse to be stripped of civility.
Senator John McCain put it best in his farewell letter. All Americans should heed his words and break free of the tribalism trap, with the high aim of uniting through our shared values and love of this great nation.
We may no longer have Senator McCain. But we will always have his example — a lodestar for restoring honor to public life and our national dialogue. Mr. Trump may fear such honorable men, but we should revere them.

There is a quiet resistance within the administration of people choosing to put country first. But the real difference will be made by everyday citizens rising above politics, reaching across the aisle and resolving to shed the labels in favor of a single one: Americans.
The writer is a senior official in the Trump administration.

This is an excerpt from an article written by Noah Bierman and published in the L.A. Times!

“Sen. John McCain’s decision to exclude President Trump from his funeral is an extraordinary moment on its own; a posthumous rebuke from an American icon that regarded the presidency as sacred, and believed its current occupant defiles that office!

Yet Trump’s exclusion from such high-profile events of mourning and celebration — where American presidents are typically counted on to stand in for an entire nation — is emerging as a pattern over his 19 months in office.
In April, Trump was asked to stay away from the funeral of Barbara Bush, wife to one president and mother of another, leaving it to former Presidents Clinton and Obama to serve as national consolers to the Bush family. In December, he opted to skip the president’s traditional attendance at the annual Kennedy Center Honors gala after several of the artists being feted threatened a boycott.
The British royal family dispensed with inviting foreign dignitaries to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May partly to avoid having to invite Trump, whom Markle had attacked as “divisive” and “misogynistic.”

End of Excerpt!

In the words of John Love for the rest of the article, there are several more examples, but two funerals and a wedding pretty much sum up how Trump is viewed here and abroad!

Trump got into office by using fear of race, religion, resentment, insults, and lashing the immigrant to his whipping post for most of our problems, anyone not Christian for the rest!

This is indicative of how he is seen, and an embarrassment for the U.S. on the world scene and yes, here at home. Despite what Trump says, which should always be taken with a grain of salt, he is alienating our long-time allies, making a world war more likely again, and in the long term his bullying, because that is what it is, using tariffs to do so, is going to backfire on our economy. Trump has always been a bully and dreams of being large and in charge of the world! Beware your support you are only endangering yourselves.

When has the United Nations needed to castigate the United States for human rights violations before Trump? Never in our history before is the answer! Why would the United States, a champion of human rights pull out of the U.N. Human Right Council? Because it does not go along with Trumps hate and fear policies, think about it!

So our allies exclude him from what is normally a President’s privilege, and a President’s family and Senator from his own party have excluded him from attending their funerals. Trump, exhibiting his total lack of class, refused to lower the flag at half mast for John McCain until he was lambasted with complaints from both political parties and veterans groups! Again, think about it, is this the man you want representing you to the rest of the world, or a man you believe is really interested in helping anyone but himself? Do you get it now?

People have enough trouble without some a-hole politicians making it way worse by constantly trying to convince you to be scared of immigrants, religions, people of color, law enforcement, just to name a few. Only in Trumps America has this become so prevalent! It has always been there to some extent, but now, anything to distract you from the Trump bus that is losing its wheels and about to careen off of Immoral Bridge into Liars Creek in really deep, deep, water!

There is a new movie out comparing Democrats to Nazis and Trump to Lincoln. First off, the term Honest Abe comes to mind, I dare you to use that as a comparison! History, what is that? Sorry, but I am always harping that if you do not know our past history and how it affects our current history, then you cannot know the facts. As you pointed out, what determined the Republicans and Democrats has flipped and are almost complete opposites in ideology now from what was. History, history, history, you must know it! Not knowing history is what allows holocaust deniers to exist! It is also the reason people who claim the bible dates the Universe have no clue that there are ancient writings dated older than 6000 years. Cave drawings that are 40 thousand years old and the light from most distant stars (science) originated between 10 to 15 billion years ago! So no, the earth is not flat, and no it is not 6,000 years old as dated by the Bible! And no this movie is not accurate by any fact of history, it is a racist view of history, and totally only in the minds of people who do not know their history, or who are just immoral lying sons of (beaches)!

It will mean nothing to the uninformed. Every news source, both domestic and foreign has reported on the coverups, the convictions of Manifort, the guilty admissions by his lawyer, Cohen, and pages of indictments of other players by Mueller. Well, all but Fox, who did an interview with Trump who blamed, of course, everyone but himself and attacked Sessions as ineffectual and a man who could not take charge of the Justice Dept.! Probably the first truthful thing he has ever said, but for all the wrong reasons. Fox, of course, asked no hard questions of any kind of Trump, just played their role as his lobbying mouthpiece!

Cohen pleads guilty and names Trump as a co-conspirator! Manifort is found guilty, and both within the same hour a few days ago! I am sure Trump will just call everyone involved low IQ witch hunters, but the wheels are starting to fall off the bus!

You read about the media, top law enforcement, and other top leaders being attacked by a dictator or tyrant in some third world country all too often! Used to, but now, you can read all about such things happening right here in the good ole USA!

We can spend billions to create a space force that actually already exists. Air Force, NASA, they already have space as part and parcel of what they do. Plus there is already a clandestine agency that produces military satellite systems and weapons! So, in my opinion, create a health care system for all and quit having parades and inventing Space Forces because an animated guy called Buzz Lightyear came to you in a dream! Besides, as I heard another gentleman remark, Trump will probably develop space spurs to protect himself from any personal involvement! I heard they were painful, in an imaginary sort of way!

Temporary tax breaks and subsidies are not done out of any compassion on Trump’s part! This is a common Trump spin. He gave a tax break to the middle class just before an election, but made it temporary, he was just electioneering! This aid to farmers is the same thing. He does not care about them he just wants them to shut up, and he could care less about the debt he is ringing up as long as it is putting money in his pockets. Every decision he makes has one thing at its core, how does it affect the Trump brand and pocketbook. The only other decisions he makes {trade wars for example] are based on his inability not to bully and preen on a world stage!

The Trump administration will end a longstanding requirement that certain nonprofit organizations disclose the names of large donors to the Internal Revenue Service, a move that will allow some political groups to shield their sources of funding from government scrutiny. The change, which has long been sought by conservatives and Republicans in Congress, it will affect a wide range of nonprofit organizations, including Americans for Prosperity funded by both Koch brothers!

Then House Republicans on Thursday approved a spending bill that excludes new money for election security grants to states, provoking a furious reaction from Democrats amid a national controversy over Russian election interference.

And this was just after the Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats raised the alarm on growing cyber attack threats against the United States, saying the situation is at a “critical point” and coming out forcefully against Russia.

“The warning signs are there. The system is blinking. It is why I believe we are at a critical point,” Coats said, addressing the Hudson Institute in Washington, DC, on Friday.

“Today, the digital infrastructure that serves this country is literally under attack,” yet Republicans do not want to fund voting and election security despite these warnings. I wonder why?

DO YOU GET IT NOW?

President Trump said Wednesday that Russia is no longer targeting the United States, contradicting his top intelligence advisor’s warning days ago that “the lights are blinking red” about cyber attacks and reigniting bipartisan concerns over his recent embrace of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The president’s flat “no” came in response to a reporter’s question about Russian threats during a White House meeting with the Cabinet. He looked right at the reporter as he said no and added: “We are doing very well, probably as well as anybody has ever done with Russia.”

Two hours later, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump was only saying “no” to answering any questions, a contention denied by the reporter and others in the room!

This is just another example of the President lying to cover his many mistakes when he is not scripted and another example that he does not read or pay attention to intelligence briefings! Then, as usual, Sara Huckabee Sanders lying again to cover for him. Even if you only watch Fox and people like Hannity, just watch your President. He lies every day and he does not do it well.

Even Fox News’ Shephard Smith criticized the White House after press secretary Sarah Sanders tried to reframe comments from President Donald Trump claiming Russia wasn’t trying to interfere in our current election cycle.

“Well, there you have it: backing up and trying again,” an unimpressed Smith said as Sanders left the podium.

I normally do not participate in Trump trashing just for entertainment’s sake but I cannot get this thought out of my head. Londoner’s did not have to inflate the Trump blimp. They just spread it out, put a mirror in front of it and it just expanded with hot air on its own!

A friend of mine actually asked the question, when has Trump ever lied? I don’t know where you have to live on the planet to not know Trump is a liar, but ok, let’s just take the Helsinki conference with Putin as the latest example! Trump refused to answer questions about whether he believes his own agencies about Putin and Russia in reference to their hacking into our elections. Let’s just forget that France, Germany, England, and others have also said they have definitive evidence that they were also hacked by Russian operatives. Trump deflected by talking about missing servers. No servers are missing or were any denied access by the FBI. The DNC provided a complete copy of their server and the Pakistani Trump is talking about never worked for the DNC! He was thoroughly investigated and exonerated by the FBI as having done nothing against the law! So this is Trump doing what he always does, telling lies to cover lies or truths he does not want to admit to! Politifact covers a lot of this, if you are interested in the truth, or think I am lying to you!

We separate children from parents, a 1-year-old child is put before a judge in the United States with no representation for the first time EVER! Now, in order to protect profits from swamp creatures, we threaten our United Nations partners who want to promote breastfeeding instead of purchasing formula. This is the America we live in! How can you want to protect an unborn child yet actively terrorize them and harm their health for profit after they are born! Do you get it now?

About a year and a half ago Trudeau made a statement that they would take the banned refugees we are turning away. Maybe that’s why Trump decided Canada was a national security risk! Cannot have all those murky non-white rapists, thieves, gang members, and potential terrorists all congregating just north of our border getting ready to murk the hell out of us!

You do not have to be from one political spectrum or the other to see how impossible it will be to build a wall! If you follow the areas where the river just bends like a snake, or is down in a gorge, the only way, since Mexico is never going to give their land away to us, is for us to grant millions of acres of land to Mexico to even make the wall feasible, all land now belonging to American ranchers and farmers! The very difficult terrain and other obstacles of transport, etc, will cause the wall to be the most expensive edifice in the world! And at the ocean end of the wall, hell, just learn to surf! Joking, but no more absurd than building a wall when the infrastructure in the country is falling apart. Plus Trump will soon be calling for a wall on the Canadian border so they do not come across buying shoes and wearing them back across the border, a very real and dangerous act by Canadians, according to Trump!

The Trump administration is bringing back the Red Scare, or McCarthyism as it was commonly called! Any non-profit that questions Trumps handling of environmental issues is the current target. They are trying to label them agents of a communist government in this instance because they operate internationally as almost all do. The old law about registering foreign agents to identify communists and Nazis after WWII is still on the books from the McCarthy era, and they are dragging it back up into the spotlight!

Do you get it now?

Trump cannot be very intelligent, or his mental illness is so pervasive that he cannot help himself. He lies, even when the truth would actually be more beneficial to him. But lying is so natural to him he cannot force himself not to do it. He loves power. He wants it for himself and admires people who have absolute power! If you pay attention, he always heaps praise on himself, makes outlandish claims that could not possibly be true! You know what really chaps my hide? The GOP backs up his lies, no matter how outrageous, or just refuse to engage in any conversation about it! There are some exceptions of course, but they are few in number. History will record this as one of the blackest moments in U.S. history. Hopefully, it will not record it as the defining moment of our eventual destruction!

Trump has always been a crook, anybody with any sense or the ability to read should have any doubt about it. I don’t mean current investigations. Use of Trump’s charity to funnel money, buy personal items, and to pay off lawsuits is well known. His claim of donating to veteran charities was actually a transfer from his charity to pay off a lawsuit against Mar-a Lago. The donation was made as part of an agreement with the person who sued as it was what he wanted to be done with the money he was awarded. But Trump never paid a dime! Read the charges, there are a few. But as I was saying, this is how he has always done business. That charity was set up as a slush fund for his many lawsuits and personal use.

Do you get it now?

Trump lies all the time, and doesn’t even do it well! He lies so much that even I tend to just ignore it, kind of like swatting at flies down at the cow pens, after a while it is just automatic. But when he lies about veterans, I really get upset. So he had thousands of requests from parents who have to be 100 or more to have sons in the Korean War.

When do you start to get it?

I have acquaintances who claim they do not like Trump personally but they think he has done great things for America. This man is alienating us from the rest of the world. He has only passed one piece of major legislation, the tax bill. He has pulled out of trade agreements with all of our neighbors, called our closest and best ally a liar, imagine the absurdity of that statement coming from him! If you think to allow mines to dump into rivers, factories to continue to pollute at even higher levels, asbestos ignored as a health threat is good for America, or the planet, you are deluded. Sure, his swamp creatures will make more money, but they will not pass any of that on to you, and when you get sick from asbestos, air pollution, or your water catches on fire, they will tell you to buy water from them and just die peaceably snowflake! You have been told current conditions are all Trump when most of them, practically all of them, are not. Trump and Fox saying so does not a fact make! Even the Congressional Budget figures, controlled by Republicans mind you, will prove that out if you really are interested in facts!

This is an excerpt of what a friend of mine from Australia said about Trump, and I quote “He seems to have a very restricted vocabulary and a dangerously short attention span. He all too clearly sees no reason why he should attempt to fit himself into the international diplomatic conventions because he believes himself to be more important, and more powerful than anyone else, and thus under no obligation to modify his behavior!”

Since George Washington presidents have, for the most part, voluntarily accepted restraints on their ability to pardon. Starting in 1789, government lawyers have been designated to review pardon applications. And since 1865, presidents have typically relied on a review by the Justice Department before granting clemency. Trump has bypassed these restraints, plus his pardons seemed to be aimed at people who supported him, or who were prosecuted by people he does not like. It also seems like a not so subtle way, to me anyway, to notify people who may be indicted in the Russia investigations that he will pardon them. He has a deep-seated fear of the Russia investigations, and this makes me go, hmmmm!

So now immigrants are animals, according to Trump. Can you guess who called a group of people animals prior to and during WWII? Trump is racist. His father was arrested in at least one KKK march, not protesting the KKK mind you! Both he and his father have been sued by the govt for refusing to rent to people of color, Donald more than once! Trump himself in public has said blacks are naturally lazy, they cannot help it. There are many more very public examples out there of Trump’s bigotry in his own words. All in the public record. These people are not animals, they are fleeing persecution and violence in most cases. You will actually find that immigrants, illegal or not, are the lowest crime statistic. I am not including drug cartel operatives, etc., that is a separate problem from mothers, fathers, and children looking for a place that does not get them beaten, robbed, raped, or killed. Yes, immigration is a problem, but our President wants to dehumanize them and use hate and scare tactics in his approach to the problem. This is not Presidential, hell, it isn’t even an acceptable approach by any decent human being!

And the band plays on!

President Trump is now blaming Obama for Russian hacking. A month ago he did not think there was hacking, but now that it’s getting harder to lie about it, like always, it is Obama’s fault.

Trump calls CNN, ABC, fake news, among others, only deciding that Fox is real news at a press conference in front of an international audience. He even refused to take questions from CNN, something no other President has ever done.

Trump claims our respect overseas has gone up since he became President. The opposite is true! He had to meet the Queen of England in the boonies, where he managed not to bow, walked in front of her, and was only given a very short tea because there were massive demonstrations against his visit in London. President Obama and his wife were given a tea, a state dinner, and invited to stay overnight in the Palace. Then he went to Scotland to golf, more massive protests, you could even hear the protestors the whole time he was golfing!

He insults the leaders of our best allies, calling Canada a threat to our security and insulting Justin Trudeau, although not to his face! Made statements that Germany is in thrall to Russia, and that Theresa May was a bad leader and that he had told her how to do Brexit but she ignored him and that her political competitor would make a great Prime Minister! The first time an American President has inserted himself into a foreign allies politics! He did these things on record, some on video, then tried to say they were fake news when he was accosted by the news media, all fake of course!

Trump is still trumpeting his successful talks with Kim Jung Un while North Korea is still secretly building and enhancing their nuclear arsenal! China has hired workers under the guise of an educational program, who send all their wages back to their government. This also gives North Korea a way to buy luxury electronics and other goods to keep its rich and powerful supporters of Kim happy!

American satellite surveillance and Japanese ships have observed oil transfers from Chinese tankers to Korean tankers. Russia also participates in the Korean worker/slave scheme and has increased the number of workers recently. Both Russia and China ignore any economic sanctions they can surreptitiously get around. I don’t think Russia or China really want a nuclear North Korea, but both like slave labor in their factories, and both want to take advantage of an American President who they can manipulate just like the Howdy Doody of old he resembles!

Trump admires the political strongman and desires to emulate them. He is a bully and like most bullies a coward. He makes nice in front of our allies, then tweets nasty at them from the safety of his aircraft or throne room! He tells lies that I see his party scrambling to explain or justify. Lies that are so blatant and so easily proven to be a lie. This is one thing you can check for yourself. He will say one thing in a statement, or a tweet, and then in a tweet or statement hours later say exactly the opposite. So one has to be the lie, pick the one you like best!

Did you watch Trump’s speech today, where he told you not to believe what you see and hear, only believe his alternate facts! What a load! I mean there was no truth in anything he said, not one damn word!

The following are excerpts from an article by Cody Fenwick a writer for AlterNet. “Since President Donald Trump’s legacy in office is filled with broken promises and dismal failures, he and his defenders are working to create an alternative reality for his supporters to believe in where administration policy is a resounding success! It’s all working out. Just remember: what you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening. It was a startling admission: Trump doesn’t want people to believe the very things they’re seeing!  Why would he say such a thing? Tariffs, of course, are just a form of taxes. So after Republicans ballooned future deficits by slashing the corporate tax rate at the end of last year, Trump is now unilaterally imposing taxes that will hurt American consumers and workers.

This is bad policy and even worse politically. So Trump has to tell his fans not to believe what they see or read. He has often employed this tactic, by denying obvious facts and labeling the media “fake news” even when the reports reveal facts that are undeniable. With his rate of dishonesty increasing, it’s Trump who his supporters should doubt, not the basic facts about the world.

But with his Helsinki summit and unmitigated disaster, the Mueller probe zeroing in on his allies, his tax cuts failing to benefit the American people, the immigration family separation crisis ongoing, and health insurance prices rising, Trump’s policy efforts give him nothing to brag about. Denying the noses on his supporters’ faces is the only thing left to do.”

The only question left is: Who’s buying it? Do you get it now?
