The Trumps are Scam Artists

During the planning for the inauguration, Ivanka Trump, the president-elect’s eldest daughter, and a senior executive with the Trump Organization, was involved in negotiating the price the hotel charged the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee. A planner emailed Ivanka, and others at the company to “express my concern” that the hotel was overcharging for its event spaces, worrying of what would happen, “when this is audited.”

The Trumps raised money for the inauguration and then funneled those funds through the Trump Organization and back into their own pockets. Ivanka Trump was both a Trump executive and also in charge of the organizing committee. She overcharged for space at the Trump Hotel in violation of tax laws and then pocketed the profits!

It also looks like donors gave money in exchange for favors from the Trump administration! The inauguration committee is currently under investigation.
Then there is Daddy
• The presidency is benefiting Trump’s business in several ways. Government officials stay in Trump hotels at inflated prices while some foreign government officials take steps to gain favor by giving Trump breaks on his properties in their countries!

Eric Trump has been giving his father quarterly updates on the financial health of his businesses, despite promises that the President would have no involvement. Those businesses have also done deals with foreign governments, despite the President’s pledge that they wouldn’t.

Trump spent nearly 40 million in taxpayer money to travel to his own properties, where he outlandishly gouged the Secret Service for food, lodging, and even golf cart rentals to follow him around!

Scott Pruitt, A former Trump appointee to the Environmental Protection Agency, regularly dined with donors and lobbyists from industries his department was regulating. He also used public money to pay for a soundproof booth in his office, no one ever has done, and chartered private and military overseas flights!

Ryan Zinke, a former Trump-appointed secretary of the interior, chartered a $12,000 flight from Las Vegas to Montana at taxpayers’ expense. He also failed to disclose an investment in a Montana gun company, booked a $12,000 flight on an oil executive’s plane, spent almost $40,000 on a wildfire fund to pay for flights and paid $6,000 for a helicopter trip to visit Vice President Mike Pence!

Steve Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary, tried to use a government plane to fly him to Europe for his honeymoon. He may also have availed himself of a taxpayer-funded military aircraft to view the solar eclipse in August, though he says the trip had a different purpose.

Tom Price, the former secretary of health and human services appointed by Trump, spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on private planes. Trump hired Price despite Price’s history of using his position in Congress to receive sweetheart stock deals.

Trump has not spent much time in Trump Tower as President so far, but the government has spent $130,000 per month to lease space in the building for a military office that supports the White House. As far as I can find, it has not been used for anything!

Jared Kushner has reportedly used his closeness with Trump to secure foreign investment in Kushner’s family-owned business, in exchange for granting visas.

Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, used his position to a Russian oligarch as part of a long-running money-laundering and tax-evasion scheme, according to charges brought against him by Robert Mueller.

Michael Flynn lobbied on behalf of the Turkish government, but Trump selected him as national security adviser anyway before later firing him!

Kellyanne Conway, a top Trump adviser, promoted Ivanka’s fashion line on television. A clear violation of her job! Not a big deal, but all part of the list of things that no other administration would be able to get away with!
Trump lawyer Marc Kasowitz donated or solicited more than $50,000 on behalf of a Manhattan district attorney who later dropped a case against Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr.

Ivanka Trump, a White House adviser to her father, owns a stake in a Trump-branded luxury hotel in Washington valued at between $5 million and $25 million.

K.T. McFarland, Trump’s former deputy national security adviser, violated federal law by using over $13,000 in campaign funds to boost her work as a media figure.

Rebeckah Adcock, a top Department of Agriculture deregulation official, met with pesticide lobbyists from her former employer and discussed issues related to her previous lobbying.

A charity led by Eric Trump paid over $145,000 to properties owned by his father during the election.

Brenda Fitzgerald, Trump’s former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director, purchased shares in food, drug, and tobacco! This after taking charge of an agency that aims to reduce smoking. She resigned.

Despite ethics rules, Ben Carson, the HUD secretary let his son help organize an agency event and invite individuals with whom he had potential business dealings. Then Ben proceeded to spend almost $32,000 on dining furniture for his government office!

Trump has refused to release his tax returns.

Crews flying to the Mideast are now flying a new routinely! What wasn’t routine was where the crew stopped along the way: President Donald Trump’s Turnberry resort, about 50 miles outside Glasgow, Scotland. Previously all flights to the Mideast refueled at military bases which are much cheaper on fuel than public airports! The choice of the hotel so struck one crew member that he texted someone close to him and told him about the stay, sending a photo and noting that the crew’s per diem allowance wasn’t enough to cover food and drinks at the ritzy resort!

Pence stayed at Trump International Golf Links and Hotel in Doonbeg, which is on the western coast of Ireland. He traveled by Air Force One, or whatever it is called when a vice president is aboard, to Dublin on the other side of the country. He should have stayed locally, which was the original plan!

Trump has been accused of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment, including non-consensual kissing or groping, by at least 22 women since 1980. Even his ex-wife Ivana said he raped her. She later changed her statement after a settlement agreement!

We are all familiar with the tape of him bragging about what he could do to women because he was rich and famous! I cannot repeat what he said, but the f and p words were used!

And of course, the call to the President of the Ukraine! When you start putting it all together, it tells the story of a dishonest, immoral man, who cares only for himself! It reveals a man that has no respect for law enforcement, woman, people of color, or anyone who does not worship the ground he walks on!

 

Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher

There is a lot more to Gallagher than just this case! He was the subject of an investigation for the shooting of a young girl in Afghanistan in 2010! He also allegedly tried to run over a Navy police officer with his car in 2014 after being detained at a traffic stop. By 2015, Gallagher had acquired a reputation as someone more interested in fighting terrorists and less interested in compliance with rules!

Another accusation was that Gallagher’s sniper work during his 2017 deployment became indiscriminate, reckless, and bloodthirsty. He fired his rifle far more frequently than other snipers who also did not consider him to be a competent sniper! He also took “random shots” into buildings. Other snipers said they witnessed Gallagher killing an unarmed older man and a young girl walking with other girls. Gallagher allegedly boasted about the large number of people he had killed, claiming he averaged three kills a day over 80 days, including four women. Gallagher also was reportedly known for indiscriminately spraying neighborhoods with rockets and machine-gun fire with no known enemy force in the region.

The case was difficult due to the Navy’s slow response to the reports of misconduct. No investigation began for nearly a year after the reports had been filed and by then much of the physical evidence was not recoverable. The prosecution’s case relied on eyewitness testimony, which the defense sought to discredit as merely that of malcontents who disliked Gallagher’s leadership style. The defense also said that Gallagher’s text messages only reflected dark comedy in a stressful situation and that his more outrageous boasts were impossible (such as killing twenty people a day).

A charge of obstruction of justice was brought against Gallagher for alleged witness intimidation. According to the claim, Gallagher threatened to kill fellow SEALs if they reported his actions. The Navy cited his text messages as attempting to undermine the investigation! This resulted in confinement with heavy restrictions on his ability to communicate, later lifted by Trump with no regard for why he was so restricted!

So I am a former two-tour Vietnam vet, a Marine Sgt. and proud of my service. So I am not a basher of the Navy or Marines. But I am going to point out what I think is going on here. As I stated, it took almost a year for the Navy to start investigating. That alone says something. The other problem as I have already pointed out is that he had all kinds of indicators that command should have picked up on but did not! Reread paragraph two! So if he had been found guilty, there would have been questions! Why people who were responsible for him did not know or react to his attitude and the many horrible infractions that were coming up on a regular basis! I hate to believe the following, but I do! The medic who finally came forward and confessed to the killing of the combatant, I believe, was pressured by his superiors to do so and guaranteed immunity if he did! This was done so that questions about why command did not react to multiple reports and charges that would asked if found guilty! So this man was only convicted for posing with a dead man when he had ten charges filed against him. Even two drug charges! According to the original Navy prosecutor, “Chief Gallagher decided to act like the monster the terrorists accuse us of being. He handed ISIS propaganda manna from heaven. His actions are everything ISIS says we are.”

The Navy is thinking about charging the medic with perjury who claims he actually killed this combatant! However, for reasons I just gave, I doubt that will happen, the chain of command up the line will not support this! Trump thinks that this man should have never been prosecuted regardless of his guilt. He was just killing the enemy, and he does not see that honor and integrity were destroyed here! Just the man’s tweets and emails alone prove his guilt by his own admission!

Now Trump wants any medals given to Navy prosecutors, in this case, to be stripped from them! These Navy officers do not get to select who they prosecute. They receive orders then they follow them based on the Uniform Code of Military Justice! So Trump is, as per usual, wrong-minded here! If he understood how all this works as the Commander in Chief, he would never make such a request. But of course, he knows more than anyone in the Navy, the Pentagon, more than all the Generals and Admirals, according to his own words anyway!

  1. We will start with the word yuge, he used this word to describe things like solid gold staircases.
  2. Bigly is another he uses to describe things he thinks are important or anything describing some action of his!
  3. Believe me is a catchphrase of his, which is not surprising since he has told 2,000 lies or aberrations of the truth since he became President!
  4. Stupid is another word he loves to shower on anyone who disagrees with him, usually either preceded or followed by I am a very stable genius!
  5. Loser is a word he uses to describe anyone he does not like, from national heroes to terrorists!
  6. Moron is one of his favorite words to describe anyone making statements about him that are unfavorable. This from a man who has threatened to sue anyone who releases any of his grades! You would think a very stable genius would be proud of his grades!
  7. Great is a favorite, it is on his hat, describes his wall, anything he has ever done, maybe followed or preceded by bigly!
  8. Fake News, a term he uses anytime any of his antics are actually reported on. Sure news is pejorative in a lot of cases, but if you pay attention, he uses the term “fake news” when it has uncovered something he does not want you to know about!
  9. Trump likes to use words no President should ever use to describe his political adversaries. Sloppy Steve Bannon, Lyin Ted, Crooked Hillary, Liddle Marco, his spelling, not mine, Low Energy Jeb Bush, Pocahontas, Cryin Chuck Schumer, Flaky Jeff Flake, Liddle Bob Corker, Little Rocket Man, Leakin James Comey, Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd, Nervous Nancy, and the list goes on. Is this how you imagined a President of the United States representing you to the world?
  10. I only ask that you remember what class and decorum from a President used to look like! When the phrase “I heard a lot of people saying” was not proof that what you just heard was true! When a President actually knew where countries were on the globe, who did not complain that Hawaii’s president failed to greet him, or that he expressed a wish for a Happy Memorial day to a bunch of Japanese diplomats and military brass while in Japan!When a President did not take the word of a Russian leader over his own intelligence agencies! Or when he describes brutal dictators as great leaders and a good man! When your President on a live mike talked about how he chased married women for sex, and how they let him grab private parts of their anatomy, all while being married himself. He openly cheated on former wives while still married to them. Trump has paid off more than one porn star to keep quiet, he has been named in multiple cases of sexual assault, and one rape of a minor. Money made that go away, but that does not make the crime any less! If you support this man you support the degradation of our democracy, both morally, and as a nation! There is no other way to describe you! Everything here is in the public record for anyone to see! Anyone that cars to see, anyway!

 

 

 

Trumps Economy?

Trumps Economy!
Not the boon to mankind that was promised!

Our leadership and ranking in the world economy, because of Trump’s tariff wars, has dropped from first place to third!
The welfare check that was written to the wealthy also did nothing but add to the national debt by the largest margins in our history! Backed up by this administration’s own reporting and the International Monetary Funds report on how nothing trickled, no jobs were saved, no bonus for the workers!

Now Trump is going to place tariffs on our largest trading partner, Mexico, to hold them responsible for his fear and loathing of brown people. A 5% tariff will begin on June 10, “if the crisis persists” tariffs will increase to 10% on July 1, the tariffs will continue to increase to 15% on Aug. 1, 20% on Sept. 1 and 25% on Oct. 1! If Mexico does not take action “to dramatically reduce or eliminate” the number of migrants traveling through its territory to the U.S.-Mexico border the tariffs will permanently remain at 25% until Mexico “substantially stops” the flow of migrants coming to the United States illegally through its territory. You think going to the grocery store is expensive, you haven’t seen anything yet! From turnips to cars, everything will get more expensive! Cars alone will increase in price about 1,300 bucks!

Trump keeps saying how his tariff war makes us money, he does not understand basic economics. The tariff is passed on to you and me! I might point out tariffs as a punishment of a foreign country that is not connected to commerce has never been done before, and again, it is tied to Trump’s belief that this is a national emergency! Or at least a lie he wants you to believe! A lie about an army of rapists, terrorists, and gang members, which anyone knows is bullshite! The problem is the terror, rape, and abject poverty that is driving these people north! Trump is not even looking at the root problem because he does not care that it is happening! He just does not want them here, for reasons you and I both know has nothing to do with economics!

Do You Get It Yet

image.pngTrump is a narcissistic megalomaniac, thief, and moral deviate! Everything that is associated with his family is the most beautiful, the grandest this and that. But since his facts and history only exist in his head, I guess he can embellish all he wants, or lie, which is what he does every single time he opens his mouth! Are any of you starting to get it yet!

Trump several times, whenever he is overseas and complains about NATO says his father was born in Germany, he was actually born in New York. Trump does have German roots through his grandfather. Grandad Trump tried to immigrate to Bavaria as his wife hated the Bronx, where they were living at the time. Gramps was forced out of Bavaria because he had formerly run away to avoid military service, which was required! Trump also claims his dad was a hero in the war and shot down 80 enemy aircraft if so he would be a national hero, but the fact is neither his father Fred Trump nor grandfather was ever in the military, the apple does not fall far from the tree, evidently!

In 1927 Fred Trump, Donald’s dad was arrested by New York police while marching in a Ku Klux Klan parade, Donald denies his father was ever arrested, I guess he was to busy shooting down those 80 aircraft in the war!

In 1954, Fred Trump was investigated by a U.S. Senate committee for profiteering from public contracts, including overstating his Beach Haven building charges by $3.7 million. Sound familiar, taught his son well!

Donald Trump joined Trump Management Company around 1968 and rose to become company president in 1971. Donald Trump claimed to receive a loan from his father in the mid-1970s of $1 million but actually documented as numerous loans exceeding $14 million!

Minority applicants turned away from renting apartments complained to the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the Urban League, leading the League and other groups to send test applicants to Trump-owned complexes in July 1972. They concluded that whites were offered apartments, while blacks were generally steered away. Both advocacy organizations then raised the issue with the Justice Department. In October 1973, the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a civil rights suit against the Trump organization (Fred Trump, chair & Donald Trump, president) for “violating the Fair Housing Act of 1968.” Actually, they had to file against Donald Trump a second time, as he was still turning tenants of color away years later! Really a great man and role model sitting in the Oval Office, don’t you think!

There is a whole list of building projects that were not reported accurately on taxes, whole sets of apartments Fred sold to Donald way below market value as a tax dodge. Probably one of the reasons Donald Trump does not want anyone looking at his taxes, one of many reasons I am sure!

Again, I ask, are you starting to get it now?

Socialism is Alive in the GOP

Let’s start with a few facts. There are no true socialist countries in the world, never have been. There are countries that spout socialist ideas and like the Soviet Union, as it was called during the cold war era, mixed socialism and communism ideologies together, but was neither. It was a dictatorship or a monarchy take your pick! The communist party owned everything, controlled everything, and gave the populace enough to sustain the workforce, not much else!

So Trump wants you to believe, and why you would not just automatically assume anything he said was a lie with his record, that the Democratic Party wants us to become a socialist country! That liberals want to destroy capitalism using climate change as its driving force! That his wall and his rule are necessary to keep our country from being overrun and decimated by non-white criminals, and by any green initiatives, again an attack on capitalism, according to Trump! That he is a religious icon and that Christianity is under attack and the Christian Bible should rule our education and our government. In that vein, he states that the Constitution is too restrictive and the rules need to be rewritten! His words, not mine!

So now, let’s look at a few things from a world point of view. If climate change is not happening, and we are not accelerating it (humankind) then why is it that we are the only country, the only one, on the entire planet not to actively engage in the fight to combat it! Or why, on the world stage, are we the only industrial nation not to provide universal health care to its citizens, even though we spend way more than they do on healthcare, have less positive outcomes, a lower life expectancy than all to them! Again, the only one! When everyone else on the planet says one thing, and you are the lone holdout, does that not suggest you may be on the wrong side of a said issue? Especially since our own Pentagon has told us that climate change is the #1 most dangerous threat to our national security! That prestigious organizations across the globe like NASA and our own National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have said that climate change is real, it is caused in large part by our industry and lack of restraint. And that it will be devastating to our economy, safety, and quality of life. Yes even under the Trump admin they still say the same thing!

Now let us dwell on the title of this article for just a moment. Trump only cares about power, money, and adulation, as do a majority of his fellow Republicans, they just do not take it the edge of lunacy, but they protect their President because he is their scapegoat. Get it while you can and screw the rest mentality exists in our political representatives, and if you are honest, more prolific as a GOP trait. In that pursuit, they have given out corporate welfare by the trillions, including huge perks to the most wealthy among us. At the same time write-offs that policeman, firefighters, and teachers used to get were abolished, in favor of the rich being able to write off the maintenance and storage costs of their private jets! If you block any attempt to barter for the best prices for drugs, what possible moral road have you just gone down, or are we protecting oligarchs and their bottom line? Of course, we are! They never replaced the Affordable Care Act with the big beautiful and so much better plan Trump promised! They, Republicans, are not even trying to create one, they never intended to! The ACA messed with the oligarch’s profit margins and that could not be allowed to happen. And since money now has as much standing as our citizenry, it just stood up and bought what it wanted, or those that have it did, anyway!

I do not know if you are aware, but the countries that inhabit the planet earth do not consider us a capitalist country, but an oligarchy! They no longer trust us, and think we are a threat to the health of the planet and its safety! And no matter what Trump says, he is not respected, but rather he is feared among our allies for his ignorance, his innate fascination with dictators, any so-called strong man, and people who have absolute power over their respective populations. This is power he admires and wants! This is why countries that used to be our allies are looking elsewhere because we are now thought of as a bullying nation, not a bastion of peace or safety for the globe, not any longer!

So Trump, our Liar in Chief, has already started on his campaign of misinformation and outright lies to make the American people think that he is at war and that he is our savior! Just fact check the CPAC speech, there was no truth in anything he said! It was all misdirection, obfuscation, and prevarication! If you cannot bear to vote democratic, at least try and elect someone who has some integrity, some moral values! I am sure there must be a Republican candidate that has not been accused of sexual misconduct, is not under investigation, convicted, or confessed to multiple crimes out there somewhere, find he or she and get rid of the orange menace!

A Wall? Or Common Sense?

How much has border security been historically rooted in racism?       (John Love; read my note at the end before you run screaming back into your cave!)

Reece Jones: If you look at the history of immigration laws in the United States, it’s a history of racial exclusion. The U.S. didn’t have any national immigration laws at all until 1875 [the Page Act], then the first big immigration law is 1882, which is the Chinese Exclusion Act, and the entire purpose of that act was to prevent non-white people from being able to migrate to the United States. The first comprehensive national rules for immigration is the 1924 National Origins Act, which was justified at the time very much on racial terms about continuing to allow white northern, western Europeans to migrate to the U.S. while it completely bans Asian immigration and dramatically limits southern and eastern European migration. The border patrol was established two days after those National Origins quotas were put in place. The entire idea of patrolling the border and having restrictions on immigration in the United States is founded on racial exclusion.

Note by John Love; Trump has actually promoted the idea stated in the last sentence above, on camera. Basically saying that Northern Europeans are the kind of immigrants we need, and at another historic moment called certain nations “junk countries” we need to exclude from our shores.

Elisabeth Vallet: I think the government that began building the India-Bangladesh border said something like, “You know, a border fence is the best way of doing nothing while showing that you are doing something.” The wall is really addressing internal politics. It’s symbolic, political, electoral and populous, but it’s not what it says it is.

It’s interesting, in terms of public policy, that we’re using border policy to address an issue that lies, like, 500 kilometers away, south of the border. The real problem in that instance is in Central America. The public policy applied here — border policy — is not the right one. It should be a foreign policy. So the remedy is like if you were giving aspirin to a cancer patient. The patient thinks you’re curing him, but you’re not really curing the root problem.

Joseph Nevins: The wall will not last forever. That’s the one thing that we can be sure of. Walls always fall. When, how, and under what conditions? Those are totally different questions, but social orders built on violence and injustice, which are inherently unstable. They can last a long time, in terms of a human lifespan, but history is littered with examples of unjust societies that dissolve very quickly. This will too unless we can rectify it in the meantime. And that’s the challenge that we have.

With the Israel-Palestine border, there are differences and there are also real similarities. The underlying issues in Israel and Palestine are as palpable as ever. What the wall does, it allows people in Israel, especially, not to have to think about them. At the same time, it builds up pressure on the other side, that when it explodes, it explodes with unprecedented strength. In the case of the U.S.-Mexico borderlands, a similar type of dynamic is unfolding. This is why we see the caravans and things of these sorts. The problems on the other side of the border, whether they’re in Honduras, Guatemala or Mexico are treated as if they belong there, as if they were created there, and as if they have nothing to do with us. These people are fleeing issues the U.S. has helped produce, and fleeing to the place that helped produce them. The wall helps us and prevents us from seeing that. At the same time, at least temporarily, the goal is to prevent the chickens coming home to roost.

So my take here, (John Love) and one I hope you are starting to glean despite being lied to, is that the wall approach is not the “fix all” Trump wants you to believe that it is. You can look at all kinds of facts about how most immigrants get here, how most drugs get here, how terrorists get here. It is not prevented by a wall, and never has been! I do think barriers are necessary for many reasons though! Immigrants need to come here in an orderly legal fashion. But spending billions on steel or cement is not the answer. Tone that down some and spend the money on electronic surveillance. Hell, for the price of the wall as Trump wants it, we could have satellite surveillance that can read a newspaper over your shoulder and readily pin-point activity such as a person or persons tramping toward an unauthorized entrance into our country or the digging of a tunnel and immediately alert border personnel to the location!

The News by John love

Trump inherited a booming economy with low unemployment and steady job growth — an easy win on day one — and he quickly claimed credit. Early in his presidency, Trump boasted about job gains starting from his election onward, crediting Obama’s final months as his own. Fact not fiction, and anyone who is honest will find this to be absolutely true!

The U.S. is now its 10th year of economic growth, and in its longest period of growth with 95 straight months of job creation. The bulk of that decade of growth was under Obama’s presidency, and can fairly be credited to him.

While the tax cuts probably helped inject some cash into the economy — particularly the stock market — the country has largely maintained the growth it saw under Obama.

Here is a small but effective way to tell if Trump is lying. If Trump calls someone or some organization, like the news in general, a liar about some topic, you can bet a fact check will show it to be absolutely true. Now, this, of course, is not 100% effective, but my testing of this scenario has been that it works 98% of the time with 100% accuracy. Or 2% of the time with 95% accuracy! Of course, a Trump pundit would go for the 2%, leave out the accuracy equation altogether, and forget the 98% part of the equation ever existed! Hannity for example!

So now Trump wants to declare a national emergency over his border wall! So far the federal funds he wants to divert are for California wildfire damage and flood control and includes disaster relief fund diversion from, guess who, Puerto Rico! I guess we Californians did not sweep our forests properly and Puerto Rico, as you know, is in a really big ocean and very hard to access. Evidently, he forgot about the Wright Brothers and other aviation enthusiast’s contributions to delivering things through the air! Or do both these areas of the globe contain too many brown people and are too (earthy) hard to find?

Plus just a few weeks ago he claimed that nothing has gotten through or over the border under his watch. If so, where is the emergency, and who needs a wall? His own intelligence agencies say there are no terrorists at the border. If you believe his latest that you can just drive down the fence line a couple of miles, find a huge hole then turn left in your van full of tied up and gagged women and cruise right on into the U.S. then you sir or madam, are idiots! This is the logic of a disturbed individual!

The wall is part of an ego trip. He is not even looking into the scientific ways to monitor and stop traffic across the southern border. He is not even considering the fact that almost all illegals came here on a commercial flight and then overstayed their visa. That almost all drugs come into our ports in cargo vessels, not across the border! That illegal crossings of the border are at an all-time low, not increasing, and the so-called caravans are caused by massive human rights violations! He is ignoring that for the first time we are being sanctioned by the United Nations as human rights violators ourselves! Who would have thought that possible just a short few years ago?

You need to wise up people, look at the world with open eyes. Almost every NATO country sees us as a threat right now! Trump is hated by most countries, and is not respected by our allies and their leaders! All you have to do is look, not hard to find these things out when you take your blinders off and actually look for actual facts, not what you want the facts to be!

The Trump administration released its first major climate report, the Fourth National Climate Assessment (NCA4) on November 23, 2018. The two-part report by the United States Global Change Research Program(USGCRP) was the result of two years of work by a team from 13 federal agencies with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as the lead administrator. The first volume released in October 2017, [39]

A 2018 CRS cited

The first volume, entitled “Climate Science Special Report” (CSSR) released on October 2017 said that, “Detection and attribution studies, climate models, observations, paleoclimate data, and physical understanding lead to high confidence (extremely likely) that more than half of the observed global mean warming since 1951 was caused by humans!

The U.S. Global Change Research Program reported in June 2009[41] that:

Observations show that warming of the climate is unequivocal. The global warming observed over the past 50 years is due primarily to human-induced emissions of heat-trapping gases. These emissions come mainly from the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, and gas), with important contributions from the clearing of forests, agricultural practices, and other activities.

Arctic Climate Impact Assessment[edit]

In 2004, the intergovernmental Arctic Council and the non-governmental International Arctic Science Committee released the synthesis report of the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment:[42]

Climate conditions in the past provide evidence that rising atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are associated with rising global temperatures. Human activities, primarily the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas), and secondarily the clearing of land, have increased the concentration of carbon dioxide, methane, and other heat-trapping (“greenhouse”) gases in the atmosphere…There is an international scientific consensus that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.[43]

Academies of science (general science)[edit]

Since 2001, 34 national science academies, three regional academies, and both the international InterAcademy Council and International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences have made formal declarations confirming human-induced global warming and urging nations to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. The 34 national science academy statements include 33 who have signed joint science academy statements and one individual declaration by the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2007.

A consensus, based on current evidence, now exists within the global scientific community that human activities are the main source of climate change and that the burning of fossil fuels is largely responsible for driving this change. The IPCC should be congratulated for the contribution it has made to public understanding of the nexus that exists between energy, climate, and sustainability.

American Geophysical Union states that human activities are changing Earth’s climate. At the global level, atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping greenhouse gases have increased sharply since the Industrial Revolution. Fossil fuel burning dominates this increase. Human-caused increases in greenhouse gases are responsible for most of the observed global average surface warming of roughly 0.8 °C (1.5 °F) over the past 140 years.Because natural processes cannot quickly remove some of these gases (notably carbon dioxide) from the atmosphere, our past, present, and future emissions will influence the climate system for millennia.

European Federation of Geologists

The EFG recognizes the work of the IPCC and other organizations, and subscribes to the major findings that climate change is happening, is predominantly caused by anthropogenic emissions of CO2, and poses a significant threat to human civilization.

European Geosciences Union

Asserts that the IPCC represents the state-of-the-art of climate science supported by the major science academies around the world and by the vast majority of science researchers and investigators as documented by the peer-reviewed scientific literature.[83]

National Association of Geoscience Teachers

Adopted a position statement on climate change in which they assert that “Earth’s climate is changing [and] “that present warming trends are largely the result of human activities“:

The American Meteorological Society

There is unequivocal evidence that Earth’s lower atmosphere, ocean, and land surface are warming; sea level is rising; and snow cover, mountain glaciers, and Arctic sea ice are shrinking. The dominant cause of warming since the 1950s is human activities. This scientific finding is based on a large and persuasive body of research.

The Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society

Global climate change and global warming are real and observable … It is highly likely that those human activities that have increased the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere have been largely responsible for the observed warming since 1950. 

World Meteorological Organization

The WMO concurs that “scientific assessments have increasingly reaffirmed that human activities are indeed changing the composition of the atmosphere, in particular through the burning of fossil fuels for energy production and transportation.” The WMO concurs that “the present atmospheric concentration of CO2 was never exceeded over the past 420,000 years;” and that the IPCC “assessments provide the most authoritative, up-to-date scientific advice.” 

I could go on for pages and pages, one scientific organization after another worldwide that support that climate change is here and that human activity is responsible for most of it! I am just pointing out to all you climate change deniers that finding one or two individuals that do not support climate change and our role in it is just that, one or two individuals. The real scientific communities around the globe agree that it is real, that we, the human equation along with our love of fossil fuels is responsible!

You do not have to take any Wikipedia author’s claim, as I said, the links to every one of my examples are there, and you can check them all out yourself. Every time one of you anti-science idiots decides to go out and find someone pissed off they are not getting enough attention as proof there is no climate change, or that it is not human interaction accelerating it, I am going to clobber you with this blog! The evidence is glaring, the facts easily available. Quit letting an oligarch, bent on selling you his fossil fuel wares convince you atmospheric contamination is false and there is no climate change, as a result, be your example!

 

 

Trump Wants War, With Anyone!

The Trump administration has ordered 5,200 additional troops — more than double the deployment in Syria — to the Southwest border in response to a caravan of Central American migrants who may seek to enter the U.S. through Mexico. Though the group is about 900 miles away and dwindling!

President Trump has seized on the immigration issue ahead of the midterm election, but illegal immigration this year is on pace to be lower than in all but four of the previous 45 years.

Among other roles, Black Hawk helicopters equipped with night sensors will be available to ferry Border Patrol personnel “exactly where they need to be” to “spot groups” and “to fast-rope down” to intercept migrants trying to cross the border. Military aircraft will conduct surveillance. The Pentagon is also sending engineers who could build vehicle barriers, walls and razor-wire fencing around the entry points. Soldiers arriving at the border were bringing 22 miles of concertina wire and would have another 150 miles available!

In addition, the Pentagon is sending four larger transport planes, including three C-130s and a C-17 to ferry the agency personnel to spots along the border where migrants may seek to cross illegally. The Pentagon is also sending riot gear, ready-to-eat meals and tents to equip, feed and house additional Border Patrol agents sent to the border.

So we are spending hundreds of millions of dollars to repel a bunch of men, women, children, farmers, and the working poor who our own intelligence agencies have already said have no ISIS operatives or terrorist cells in them, just terrified victims! Just another Trump fear tactic to enrage his base!

And a note to end on, Trump now says he wants to cancel the 14thamendment so that people born in the United States will no longer automatically be citizens! So this has been a law for 150 years. All of this is to get your mind off his sophistry, rhetoric if you will, and his responsibility for acts of violence because of it!
