Trumps Economy!
Not the boon to mankind that was promised!

Our leadership and ranking in the world economy, because of Trump’s tariff wars, has dropped from first place to third!
The welfare check that was written to the wealthy also did nothing but add to the national debt by the largest margins in our history! Backed up by this administration’s own reporting and the International Monetary Funds report on how nothing trickled, no jobs were saved, no bonus for the workers!

Now Trump is going to place tariffs on our largest trading partner, Mexico, to hold them responsible for his fear and loathing of brown people. A 5% tariff will begin on June 10, “if the crisis persists” tariffs will increase to 10% on July 1, the tariffs will continue to increase to 15% on Aug. 1, 20% on Sept. 1 and 25% on Oct. 1! If Mexico does not take action “to dramatically reduce or eliminate” the number of migrants traveling through its territory to the U.S.-Mexico border the tariffs will permanently remain at 25% until Mexico “substantially stops” the flow of migrants coming to the United States illegally through its territory. You think going to the grocery store is expensive, you haven’t seen anything yet! From turnips to cars, everything will get more expensive! Cars alone will increase in price about 1,300 bucks!

Trump keeps saying how his tariff war makes us money, he does not understand basic economics. The tariff is passed on to you and me! I might point out tariffs as a punishment of a foreign country that is not connected to commerce has never been done before, and again, it is tied to Trump’s belief that this is a national emergency! Or at least a lie he wants you to believe! A lie about an army of rapists, terrorists, and gang members, which anyone knows is bullshite! The problem is the terror, rape, and abject poverty that is driving these people north! Trump is not even looking at the root problem because he does not care that it is happening! He just does not want them here, for reasons you and I both know has nothing to do with economics!

Just a Few Examples of a Liar in Chief

  1. At a recent campaign rally, Donald Trump added a new line to his standard message. Unfortunately, it involved the president attacking a pending piece of legislation that exists only in his imagination. I quote; “Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate has signed up for the open borders – and it’s a bill. And it’s called The Open Borders Bill. What’s going on? And it’s written by – guess who – Dianne Feinstein.” No such bill exists written by anyone, this is just what he does, all the time. But you say he doesn’t lie! Well, he is either a liar or he is mentally afflicted! Trump also has an unnerving talent for repeating conversations that actually never happened, but he believes they did! Also indicative of serious mental problems!

 

  1. Trump; “I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down, and I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.” There are several easy reasons why this is a lie. Thousands gathered where, and no else saw them, and how did they know to gather. Plus there are several factual events that Trump attended during that time period that would have put him where he would not have been able to witness this even if it had happened! An event everyone else in the world missed, by the way! Trump did claim to have also viewed the archival footage, footage I might add no one has ever been able to find! The man just lies and does not even have the sense to lie well. But yet you say you have never heard him lie? Well, then you have never heard him speak!

 

  1. Trump; “The Obama administration is bringing a quarter-million Syrians into the country.” “Refugees are pouring into our great country from Syria. We don’t even know who they are. They could be ISIS. They could be anybody.” In fact, the U.S. has resettled fewer than 2,000 refugees from Syria, out of the millions of people displaced by a civil war that started years ago. In a country of 322 million people, 500 refugees a year is better described as a trickle. The idea that “we don’t even know who they are” is laughable, considering the much-publicized vetting process that requires refugees to wait up to 18 months and to pass multiple background and health checks before gaining admission.

 

  1. Trump claimed that 81 percent of white murder victims are killed by black people, and 97 percent of all black murder victims are killed by black people. The actual fact of the matter is more than 80 percent of white murder victims are killed by other whites. If you look at any statistic Trump has given concerning black people they have all been totally false, every time! What does that tell you?

 

  1. He and Vladimir Putin are buddies. Trump said: “I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes, we were stablemates and we did very well that night.” Trump and Vladimir Putin did, indeed, appear on the show on the same night. But Trump is clearly implying that the two bonded over the experience. However, both men appeared in pre-taped segments. Trump was recorded in his New York office. Putin was in Moscow. Trump didn’t meet Putin! And why is it that you still think Trump does not lie all the damn time?

 

  1. Trump; China is the big winner in the Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership. The Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal “was designed for China to come in through the back door and totally take advantage of everyone,” and currency manipulation “is not even discussed.”Trump was corrected by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) who noted that China is not a party to TPP. However, that’s not the only thing about what Trump said that was false. The TPP was released simultaneously with an agreement on, you guessed it, currency manipulation, which was lauded by trade expertsas a historic achievement that met the goals Congress had set for the president’s negotiators. So, that’s really a twofer.

 

Look, I could go on for hours here, but you would not bother so I will leave off. I chose these items because any fact checking at all will easily reveal these lies! There are thousands of examples of Trumps lies, his cheating on his wives while still married to them, forget the porn stars! People in business he has cheated, federal lawsuits, twice actually, for discrimination, the list goes on and on and on. DO YOU GET IT NOW?

I gleaned a lot of this from the link below. I did a fact check on my own, and so can you! Oh, and look at the dates, he hadn’t even gotten wound up on most of these! Except for the #1 example, which is current, these are just a few of the lies he told you that got him elected! His lies have gotten way worse over time, and his facts, we don’t need no stinking facts!

Two Funerals and a Wedding

This is an excerpt from an article written by Noah Bierman and published in the L.A. Times!

“Sen. John McCain’s decision to exclude President Trump from his funeral is an extraordinary moment on its own; a posthumous rebuke from an American icon that regarded the presidency as sacred, and believed its current occupant defiles that office!

Yet Trump’s exclusion from such high-profile events of mourning and celebration — where American presidents are typically counted on to stand in for an entire nation — is emerging as a pattern over his 19 months in office.
In April, Trump was asked to stay away from the funeral of Barbara Bush, wife to one president and mother of another, leaving it to former Presidents Clinton and Obama to serve as national consolers to the Bush family. In December, he opted to skip the president’s traditional attendance at the annual Kennedy Center Honors gala after several of the artists being feted threatened a boycott.
The British royal family dispensed with inviting foreign dignitaries to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May partly to avoid having to invite Trump, whom Markle had attacked as “divisive” and “misogynistic.”

In the words of John Love for the rest of the article, there are several more examples, but two funerals and a wedding pretty much sum up how Trump is viewed here and abroad!

Trump got into office by using fear of race, religion, resentment, insults, and lashing the immigrant to his whipping post for most of our problems, anyone not Christian for the rest!

This is indicative of how he is seen, and an embarrassment for the U.S. on the world scene and yes, here at home. Despite what Trump says, which should always be taken with a grain of salt, he is alienating our long-time allies, making a world war more likely again, and in the long term his bullying, because that is what it is, using tariffs to do so, is going to backfire on our economy. Trump has always been a bully and dreams of being large and in charge of the world! Beware your support you are only endangering yourselves.

When has the United Nations needed to castigate the United States for human rights violations before Trump? Never in our history before is the answer! Why would the United States, a champion of human rights pull out of the U.N. Human Right Council? Because it does not go along with Trumps hate and fear policies, think about it!

So our allies exclude him from what is normally a President’s privilege, and a President’s family and Senator from his own party have excluded him from attending their funerals. Trump, exhibiting his total lack of class, refused to lower the flag at half mast for John McCain until he was lambasted with complaints from both political parties and veterans groups! Again, think about it, is this the man you want representing you to the rest of the world, or a man you believe is really interested in helping anyone but himself? Do you get it now?

Why I am Embarrassed

President Trump is now blaming Obama for Russian hacking. A month ago he did not think there was hacking, but now that it’s getting harder to lie about it, like always, it is Obama’s fault.

Trump calls CNN, ABC, fake news, among others, only deciding that Fox is real news at a press conference in front of an international audience. He even refused to take questions from CNN, something no other President has ever done.

Trump claims our respect overseas has gone up since he became President. The opposite is true! He had to meet the Queen of England in the boonies, where he managed not to bow, walked in front of her, and was only given a very short tea because there were massive demonstrations against his visit in London. President Obama and his wife were given a tea, a state dinner, and invited to stay overnight in the Palace. Then he went to Scotland to golf, more massive protests, you could even hear the protestors the whole time he was golfing!

He insults the leaders of our best allies, calling Canada a threat to our security and insulting Justin Trudeau, although not to his face! Made statements that Germany is in thrall to Russia, and that Theresa May was a bad leader and that he had told her how to do Brexit but she ignored him and that her political competitor would make a great Prime Minister! The first time an American President has inserted himself into a foreign allies politics! He did these things on record, some on video, then tried to say they were fake news when he was accosted by the news media, all fake of course!

Trump is still trumpeting his successful talks with Kim Jung Un while North Korea is still secretly building and enhancing their nuclear arsenal! China has hired workers under the guise of an educational program, who send all their wages back to their government. This also gives North Korea a way to buy luxury electronics and other goods to keep its rich and powerful supporters of Kim happy!

American satellite surveillance and Japanese ships have observed oil transfers from Chinese tankers to Korean tankers. Russia also participates in the Korean worker/slave scheme and has increased the number of workers recently. Both Russia and China ignore any economic sanctions they can surreptitiously get around. I don’t think Russia or China really want a nuclear North Korea, but both like slave labor in their factories, and both want to take advantage of an American President who they can manipulate just like the Howdy Doody of old he resembles!

Trump admires the political strongman and desires to emulate them. He is a bully and like most bullies a coward. He makes nice in front of our allies, then tweets nasty at them from the safety of his aircraft or throne room! He tells lies that I see his party scrambling to explain or justify. Lies that are so blatant and so easily proven to be a lie. This is one thing you can check for yourself. He will say one thing in a statement, or a tweet, and then in a tweet or statement hours later say exactly the opposite. So one has to be the lie, pick the one you like best!

Trump the Disruptor, A Bad “B” Movie!

At the NATO news conference, Trump said about shared spending, “They’re going to up it at levels that they’ve never thought of before.” Other leaders, however, denied that they had made any new pledges beyond what they’d agreed to in 2014, under some pressure from President Obama. “No increase in spending,” Italy’s new prime minister, Giuseppe Conte, said of his country’s military budget. French President Emmanuel Macron, in his own closing news conference, said NATO members generally had made no new commitments.

The diplomatic confusion Trump caused among NATO allies left them more uncertain than before of the U.S. commitment, and apprehensive about his get-together with Putin. At NATO’s close, he cast himself as a savior, yet it was a crisis of his own making that distracted from an agenda focused on Russia, and anti-terrorism. A day after tweeting, “What good is NATO?” Trump spoke in his most glowing terms ever about the alliance, a pillar of the post-World War II democratic order and one that as a presidential candidate he repeatedly called “obsolete.” “I believe in NATO,” Trump said. “I believe it’s probably the greatest ever done.”

The president’s “misstatements and bluster,” Senator McCain wrote, “are the words of one man. Americans and their Congress still believe in the transatlantic alliance.” He ridiculed Trump’s description of Putin as a competitor, saying, “Putin is our enemy” because he chose to be — by invading Ukraine, annexing Crimea, slaughtering Syrians and attacking U.S. elections and democracies worldwide.

These are my conclusions about what Eli Stokols was writing about the NATO conference!

Trump, as usual, tried to take credit for something that actually did not happen! The increases in spending are still on the same schedule that NATO members agreed to under some pressure by President Obama! Not only was this conference not a success by any means, he left NATO wondering by saying he could pull out any time and he did not need congressional approval to do it!

He attacked Germany and Angela Merkel saying they are pawns of Russia! He attacked England and Theresa May, even saying he thought her political rival would be better at her job! An unprecedented intrusion into a countries politics by an American President! He went on to say he had told her how to do Brexit but she wouldn’t listen! He attacked Europe as a whole by saying that allowing immigration would destroy what used to be great European traditions! You know, all white and all Christian, my words, of course!

Trump is a disruptor, which I admit sometimes can be a good thing, but not in his case! He attacks and insults longtime allies and trade partners. He puts in jeopardy alliances that we need for long-term security. His misguided trade restrictions of our allies, he just threatened England with trade reductions. Even his China policies are a mistake! We have issues with China, trade and otherwise, but what he is doing to them and our allies in his new tariff demands will hurt us, and hurt us bad!  His disruptions are guided by only one thing, his desire to show he is in charge on the world stage and you better pay allegiance to the World Emperor or else!
