Republican Prevarications!

Republicans are taking credit for pandemic relief in their states that they voted against! Every Republican in Congress voted against the sweeping pandemic relief bill that President Joe Biden signed into law! Every single one! But Republicans from New York and across the nation to Washington state have promoted elements and taken credit for the results of the exact legislation they fought to defeat!

Here is a perfect example; Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, a Republican from NY, said it pained her to vote against the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan! Then she later issued a news release taking credit for more than $3.7 million from the package that went to community health centers in her district as one of her “achievements.” She said she prided herself on “bringing federal funding to the district and back into the pockets of taxpayers.” The very funding that she and every single republican voted against! As I indicated, there are more examples, but this and other similar claims by republicans are out-and-out lies that we let them get away with!

Then there are things they do not take credit for, or seem to not know about, or claim it didn’t happen. Matt Gaetz is a prime example. Besides paying for sex with a minor, he is now facing charges for sex trafficking. If he had been a Democrat, the outcry would have deafened us in our own homes! But what do you hear from Republicans on this issue, nada! They either claim they do not know anything about it, or Matt, who?

I am not saying Democrats are not guilty of taking credit where credit is not due, but when you search for examples, the ratio for Republicans is high! Then when you start looking for sex trafficking charges or sex with a minor, it is almost always related to a Republican lawmaker—starting with their hero, Trump! A man, who encouraged violence, has made more statements on the record demeaning women than any leader of a country I know of! He has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of women, even rape in more than one instance, yet Republicans still hold him up as their shining example. The old saying, a thief always thinks everyone is stealing from him, and I cannot help but think that sexual assault is way more common than we know, and that is why they are willing to look the other way! We have to start holding these people accountable, especially if it involves an underage girl or any person under their sway!  

I had a friend ask me just the other day how I felt about how our current President is ruining America, and am I now finally wishing Trump was back! I cannot tell you how utterly ashamed I am that people cannot see the truth, especially when it is so in your face! They have to be only listening to shock jocks, not looking for the truth at all! Even when Fox News defended itself in court with the premise that no one thinks that what they report are facts, they are an entertainment venue, so they should not be held accountable. This was in defense of Tucker Carlson, who they said could not be literally believed! Google it, easy to find!

There are currently several criminal investigations underway of former President Trump, his children, and in-laws! History will show the Trumps were and are a crime family! Especially Donald and his Dad! Dad was arrested once while marching in a KKK rally! He was released without charges because money has influence. Both Donald and Fred Trump were charged with racist housing practices by the Federal government, Donald, more than once! I could give you pages and pages of lawsuits, immoral practices by Donald alone, from early childhood on, but if you are not already aware, I doubt you care!

So if you believe in this tripe, you are one, not very bright! Sorry, but Pizzagate is part of this. You know, a pedophile ring run out of the basement of a Pizza store’s basement, in a Pizza store with no basement! Also reread the first sentence, which includes Satan worshipers and cannibalistic pedophiles! You are also incapable of logical thought! Because this is supposedly a worldwide cabal, so that means the FBI, CIA, MI6, Europol, Interpol, to name just a few, all have to be in on it! And then to believe Trump, in cahoots with Mueller, feigned a friendship with Russia so they could better institute the Storm, a massive round up of all of these Satan worshiping pedophiles, the Obama’s, Clintons, Soros, democratic politicians,  most actors, and pretty much anyone who ever criticized Trump! Wait, isn’t critizism our right in a democracy, the Bill of Rights, and covered in our Constitution? No, then what country do you support, it is not the United States of America!

Hate has to be your basic instinct. Hate of anyone not like you, not of the same religion, not the same color, not the same heritage, a belief that you, and carbon copies of you, are superior in every way, by birthright! So yes, some of you do not hate all of it! But you hate, and hate has to be your primary resource, or QAnon would not exist, as it has been disproven, called a cult by our countries law enforcement! Yet here you are, wearing the t-shirt, spouting its tenants, ready to arm yourselves in defense of it! Oh, that also makes you dangerous, nuts, and a psychopath!

Don’t agree, I don’t fracking care! Did I use terminology you don’t like? Then quit being a traitor to the real America, read, and think, fact check, not just fill up on what fills your lust and hatred of things you are afraid of. Becoming a white minority in some parts of the country, having you white privilege reduced to a more level playing field, not having anyone to blame but yourself for whatever you are now blaming some immigrant for! You know, the job they have that you wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole, but you still think they must have stolen your job! 

As my favorite character said, “stupid is, as stupid does” think on it!

Obstruction of justice

Bribery

This would be about Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asking for a “favor” in the form of finding dirt on a political opponent, Joe Biden. There are several other suspected bribes, but this is the one where he was impeached by the House, but found guilty by the Senate. So is still viable. So since the House’s findings did not limit his freedom!

Conspiracy to defraud the United States

 

This occurs when individuals agree to obstruct the work of a federal agency. If members of the Trump administration sabotaged the U.S. Postal Service to influence the outcome of the 2020 election, this charge could be considered for anyone who conspired to achieve the illegal objective, even those who took no personal action.

Campaign finance violations

 

Cohen set up a shell corporation to make a $130,000 payment to prevent Daniels from making public statements that would harm the Trump’s candidacy. As stated in court documents in Cohen’s case, the payments assisted the campaign by preventing the publication of negative stories about candidate Trump that

might influence the election. His payment exceeded the legal limit of $2,700 for campaign contributions and violated the law prohibiting corporate contributions. The government stated that Cohen “acted in coordination with and at the direction of Individual-1” — identified as someone who ran “an ultimately successful campaign for President of the United States.”

The following cannot be included in impeachment as they are;

Pre-presidency crimes

 

Trump  consistently over valued his properties to gain access to loans. Then undervalued those same properties when it came time to pay taxes! He is currently being investigated by the Manhattan District Attorney!  Potential crimes include bank, insurance and tax fraud; money laundering; and preparing false business records.

Crimes for another day?

 

Mueller, because Justice Department policy prohibited him from filing charges against a sitting president, did file any! He made clear, however, that his report was intended to “preserve the evidence” obtained in his investigation because “a President does not have immunity after he leaves office.” Trump mutilated the truth when speaking about the fact no charges were filed, and just pretended the preserve the evidence part didn’t exist!

The November 3rd election was the “most secure in American history”and “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised,” according to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The statement follows numerous claims of supposed election fraud by President Donald Trump and his allies.

“While we know there are many unfounded claims and opportunities for misinformation about the process of our elections, we can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our elections, and you should too,” the statement continues.

An official with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) said Saturday morning there is “no evidence” of voter fraud, instead praising state and local officials and poll workers for running an election during the coronavirus pandemic.

“State and local officials and poll workers throughout the country really stepped up. And there have been very few complaints about how this election was run,” said Ellen Weintraub, a Democrat and FEC commissioner. “Very few substantiated complaints, let me put it that way. There is no evidence of any kind of voter fraud. There is no evidence of illegal votes being cast.”

In over 60 case filings, analysis found that 38 judges appointed by Republicans were among the 86 judges who had rejected lawsuits. The U.S. Supreme Court, which includes three Trump-appointed justices, rejected Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s challenge to election results in four states.

Judge Stephanos Bibas, a Trump appointee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, said in dismissing one Pennsylvania challenge: “Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. Ok, if you think there was massive voter fraud, and continue to post such drivel, I ask you to respond with facts. Sixty court cases came up with zero facts to support this, but if you found, on your own, millions of cases that support voter fraud and cost Trump the election, by all means post here! Facts mind you, only facts!

The Argument by the GOP

The new argument I hear the last few days from Republican leaders, governors, and legislators are that having an education is terrible. Especially an education that specifically qualifies you for the job for which you are being considered! It is also reprehensible that you correspond with and interact with people who specialize in the things your job will entail. Or at least this is what people like Mark Rubio said about
Biden’s picks so far for his administration! Tom Cotton Ark., Josh Hawley of Mo., and Rubio of Fla., all despaired about the fact that all of Biden’s picks so far are all highly educated and have in-government expertise! Governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noam, criticized “supposed science experts” who want to take our rights away by making us wear masks and other safeguards. Currently, South Dakota is doing none of the things recommended by the scientific community and are increasing their numbers of infections and deaths at a tremendous rate, now the highest in our union! So yes, they are free, free to die!

Where did the GOP get the idea that education and science are the enemies? That all media companies are liars and in some plot against the GOP? That we should suspect any findings by law enforcement, even the FBI and CIA? Wait, I think a guy named Trump started all of that. In all fairness, there have been anti-science and anti-education memes that sprung up about climate change, even before Trump, but he turned it into a call to arms! According to Trump and his sycophants, all of the world scientists formed a cabal intent on misleading the world! It all comes down to money. Big industry does not like climate change because it cuts into the profit margin to deal with it. The movers and shakers on Wall Street hate the thought of universal healthcare as it is stock driven, and profits to its rich stock portfolios driven by higher drug and healthcare costs are what is important to them. You are supposed just to shut up and die, or you are unpatriotic! Healthcare is a money maker the way it is set up now; in the U.S., we die sooner, are unhealthy more often, and our healthcare is way more expensive nationally than countries that supply it to all of its citizens equally!

So the uneducated tend to blame the educated for their woes. Sure, a lot of it is put upon them by educated people! But that is more attributable to their greed and avarice than it is education! But it makes education and science easy targets when you want to pollute at will and make healthcare a money grab devoid of actually providing a healthy outcome! So it has to change, and I believe it will eventually. Instead of spending more on the military than almost all of our allies put together, we need to make a switch to education, from pre-school to college graduation! We need to do it without putting students in so much debt they shy away from education, but instead rewarding those who choose it! I hold no college degrees, even though I attended on and off my whole working life! I do own an entire wall of certificates and diplomas from job-related schools, and I am a voracious reader. But if I could have afforded an Ivy League or higher education at college or university level, you bet, I would have been right there! And that is what we need to strive for! And at the basic level, we need to treat our teachers in K12 with respect and pay that attracts and keeps quality teachers at the helm of education. I did raise a teacher/college professor who is now the Principal of a reasonably large school here in the Southland! Best I could do!

Yes, I am a Pain in the Arse

I am a Marine vet, two tours in Nam. First, not a combat Marine, I never left the safety of the airbase in Da Nang! A location affectionately known as Rocket City because of the almost daily rocket rainfall! I got an excellent demonstration within the first half hour I was in country. But no jungle safaris while I was there!

I was a Sgt, which some say is why I am a little lax in my patience quotient. A Sgt in the Marine Corps has a God complex. This is more prevalent in the Corps than in the other services. We are the poor stepchild of the Navy, so money and promotions are a hard target! So a Sgt in the Corps is more rare than in any other service! With more responsibility in most cases and you are basically the last word! Not far enough up the chain to have to deal with a lot of red tape, but with enough power that no one was going to give you any guff unless they outranked you, and Sgts run the Corps. Ask any of us. If it ain’t so, you will find that we thought it was. Every last one of us!

So previous to that, I lived in a small logging and ranching community in Idaho. Well lots of places in Idaho, but from the summer before the 8th to my first year of college, Council was my home. We will not go into the complex and often unbelievable circumstance before that. Still, Council saved my life, gave me purpose, and made me realize my worth.
I went from almost no schooling before I was 13, to an (A) average student! I was on the student council, editor of the school paper junior and senior years, captain of an undefeated football team, a starter on the basketball team, and the primary pitcher for the baseball team, both also doing very well. I might have had a swellhead! But what I am trying to say, Council and the wonderful people populating that town were responsible for my good luck. I had no parents; I lived for a while with a school teacher who snagged me from the hell I was living!. When they moved, I lived with the town’s only Doctor and a state assemblyman and his family, whose elder son was my best friend. So, as I said, I owe a lot to people not even related to me for giving me a leg up!

So, back to me being an arse! I love the people of Council; regardless of their beliefs or political aspirations, all of them will give you the shirt off their back if you are an honest resident of their town and in need! But there are some extremes, politically, that is. I am aware that I am at one of those extremes. I am what you would call a liberal who was raised in a primarily conservative stronghold. I never minded, never really paid it much attention until Trump went political!

Now long before Trump became our President, I had a decent hate for the man. I had followed him most of my life, learning of his ominous business dealings and rampant racism! Trump and his father were even sued in federal court by the Justice Dept, Donald twice for this very thing! I noted his attitudes toward women, cheating one wife with the next one in line, and then with porn stars, while the now First Lady was pregnant with their son! I noted how often Trump had been accused of sexual assault, even rape of an underage girl, and how his money and influence made it all go away. But what set me off, what turned me into the arse that I am, was when people I loved excused or even denied this activity! Calling him beloved and chosen by God, that I just went nuts! I could not believe my eyes, my ears, or understand how this could possibly be!

So I started a blog, became a pest on Facebook and, to some extent on Twitter! I started doing my own research to make sure I was not mistaken in my beliefs. I found that I had not even scratched the surface of this man’s evil. He was kicked out of private school for bullying and beating younger students. He was sent to a military school that was not known for academic excellence but for obedience training of wayward teens! He could not get into a good college on his own merit but paid someone to take his SATs. Even then, his grades were not enough to enter into his college of choice; Wharton refused his original application! He had to use family influence to get in. He has since threatened all institutions of learning he attended if they released his grades. You know, being a genius and all!

Since he started his political career, he has lied at least 20,000 times. Currently, he averages 50 a day as his mental stability is suffering under his loss to Biden! But his supporters seem not to notice or do not care! Yes, those figures come from multiple sources, but look at the magnitude. Even if you were to disregard a large portion, you still have the most egregious liar in public office in history!

After the election he gave up even trying to appear concerned about a virus that is raging out of control. We are the number one infected nation on the planet, but from Trump, crickets! Even before the election, it had been months since he attended the weekly updates and discussions on how to deal with it!

Yes, even now he is firing anyone who disagrees with him! Anyone who dares tell the truth about healthcare, or who denies the lies about the election, anyone in the Pentagon that he could fire, he did! Because they did not want to send regular troops into citizen populations! That is, for example, why Mark Esper is gone! He is suing states to try and overturn Biden’s win. The courts all down the line are denying him, and Trump is getting more and more desperate in his lies and accusations! If you are honest, even giving the man the benefit of the doubt because, yes, there are partisan politics always in play, he is not honest, is morally corrupt, and is the prevaricator in chief!

Again, pain in the arse that I am, I ask you to do some honest fact-checking. Now fact-checking means you have to look at actual court cases, existing instances of circumstance you can witness for yourselves about this man’s behavior. Then you have to take into account the vast amounts of evidence provided by dozens of women and former contractors. Yes, his former lawyers, so-called insiders, his family, all laying out a scenario of a vicious bully with an evil character! Even Fox admits in court; they are not a news organization but an entertainment company. According to their lawyers, everyone knows they do not represent facts, so they should not be held liable. So that also means you cannot use them as a fact-checking source, now, can you!

The reason I am pestering you again. Because all these innuendoes and lies have split our country into two camps, those that think Biden won, and those who think it was some nationally co-ordinated conspiracy to steal an election. This will split our country for years. We need to examine how we got here and who is responsible. I mean, when the far right militia is standing by for Trumps order to go to war on innocent civilians, it is time to rethink our stratagems!

Trump Never Cared

The COVID 19 virus is at an all-time high and running rampant, and Trump does not care to comment or take any action to help the population! Since he lost the election, he has taken only one step, to the cemetery on Veterans day that was not to a golf course! Trump does not have any interest now except his lawsuits to stay in power; you can all die for all Trump cares, or ever did care for that matter! Trump only says whatever he thinks will add to his power and play to his followers. He disdains even them, probably even more so that people who stand up to him! He got rid of any yes people that he had the power to remove in the Pentagon because his last two appointments as Secretary of Defense told him the truth, not what they knew he wanted to hear, so he got rid of them. He wants to get all troops out of Afghanistan, even though the region is still not stable and will revert to the Taliban almost immediately. Even now, the Taliban is emboldened and acting accordingly. All of the security updates coming to him, which he refuses to read or believe, have told him it is not time yet! But he does not think in terms of security, only what he thinks will make him look good to his supporters. He also did not like that Esper did not support his wanting to send regular troops into cities he despised! I would worry about how he intends to try and use the military in the coming days!

The fact that he will not acknowledge the election results and will not allow Biden to set up transition offices or get security briefings is telling! Trump is still, even though his own Homeland Security has said this was the most secure election in our history, refusing to admit defeat! He is not acting rationally. Trump has always lied to get what he wants and gotten away with it, but now his lies and attitude are downright unstable by anyone with any common sense! Yes, I have always had hate in my heart for the man, long before he became President, but the preponderance of the evidence of who he is is blatant and getting more and more insane in the last few weeks! I think that Republicans have to stop covering for him! They were afraid of his wrath if they did not kiss the ring, but he is gone; for intents and purposes, they need to get up off their knees!

The BSC Syndrome

Trump has baselessly alleged that his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, is taking some sort of “enhancement” drug, and claimed that Biden is the pawn of shadowy “dark forces.” He claims these forces are under investigation, and that planeloads of these dark forces have been observed in black uniforms! When asked the who, why, and where questions, he put the question off by saying it was under investigation and he would tell us more later. How often have you heard him say that to cover up some smelly pile of bullshite?

He has suggested there will be a “Rigged Election”; urged supporters in North Carolina to commit election fraud, by voting twice; and likened protesters demanding racial justice to “Domestic Terrorists.” He also would not say whether or not he would accept a losing vote count come November!

Trump’s Administration, meanwhile, is withholding briefings on election interference by Russia and other foreign powers from congressional intelligence committees! That should make you at least suspicious of why he would do that!

He keeps talking about his wonderful wall that is being built. Actually the project evolved into the replacement of smaller, older barriers with steel bollard fencing. (Only three miles of the barrier is on land that previously did not have a barrier.) One of the large contracts approved by Trump to one of his supporters fell down not long after it was erected! The project has diverted billions in military and counternarcotic funding to become one of the largest infrastructure projects in U.S. history, seizing private land, cutting off wildlife corridors and disrupting Native American cultural sites!

He has accrued over 20,000 lies according to several fact checking entities and universities! Even if you want to deny that all of these are true, and even if you cut it in half, this is evidence of BSC Syndrome! (Bat Shit Crazy)

Even without his rallies, where his lies were abundant, the nearer the election the crazier and more frequent the lies get. He averages 40 lies a day, 40! This is not normal, if you think it is, you should get a mental health checkup. Seriously, because BSC Syndrome appears to be highly infectious!

And if he is a very stable genius, why has he hidden his grades, actually threatened to sue anyone who released them. I don’t care what political leanings you have, you and I both know why! Same goes for his taxes, which during the election he said he would release, but has gone to court multiple times to keep us from seeing them. Same thing applies; there is only one reason to keep secrets, to hide something!

One last thing, he has temporarily done away with paycheck contributions for Medicare and Social Security and has said publicly that if reelected he will make that permanent. That will bankrupt Social Security in three years with no payments to be made at all to people like you me who depend on it to live! You will have no insurance, but you will not care as you will be starving to death and living on the streets, hoping to die!  Do you not see that!

Before You Vote, Look, Listen, and Pay Attention

(Info from PBS News Hour) Compared to people in most developed nations, including Canada, Americans have for years paid far more for health care while staying sicker and dying sooner!


“To Canadians, the notion that access to health care should be based on need, not ability to pay, is a defining national value.” Americans simply don’t live with that confidence. Losing a job is bad enough, but imagine that you’re going to have to lose everything you’ve got to qualify for Medicaid. Sell your house. Sell your car and basically be on the bones of your ass before you get any medical coverage! That is our way of dealing with healthcare! In 2019, health expenses drove more Americans into bankruptcy than any other reason, according to the American Journal of Public Health. That same year, health care consumed 17 percent of the U.S. gross domestic product, a greater share than in any other developed country, including Canada!


So here is my take. We need universal healthcare, but we need to design it better than Canada who has long wait periods for elective or none emergency operations. They (Canada) do not cover dental, for example, or drugs that have not been prescribed by a hospital. They are way cheaper even when you do have to pay, however. But Switzerland, for example, has a system where you pay, but if you cannot afford to pay the govt pays your premiums. No one goes uncovered. So what we have in the U.S. sucks, it is more expensive, it will bankrupt you before it will even give you minimal coverage, and you die younger, and are sick more than any other industrialized nation.

So I do not know exactly where Biden is going to be, but it has to be better than Trump’s plan which is to get rid of what we do have with no plan to replace it, at all! And he also wants to permanently get rid of payroll taxes for medicare and social security which will bankrupt SS in three years with no ability to pay us any dollars at all. So consider this when you vote, a vote for Trump means you die sooner, stay sick longer, and if you are like me and depend on my Social Security, I will starve, lose my home, my car, and be on the street in Trump‘s America! And so will you, please look at Trump’s policies, at what he does versus what he says while campaigning! The Prevaricator In Chief on Steroids

In 2018, journalist Jonathan Greenberg released audio recordings from 1984 in which Trump, posing as his own spokesman John Barron, made false assertions of his wealth to secure a higher ranking on the Forbes 400 list of wealthy Americans, including claiming he owned over 90 percent of his family’s business. He would often call news outlets and other sources calling himself John Barron to praise himself and spread disinformation about how great he was. Does this sound like a sane man to you?

A former budget director and deputy mayor of New York City during the 1980s, and a former publisher of Crain’s New York Business, said “I wouldn’t believe Donald Trump if his tongue were notarized.”

In 1997, Ben Berzin Jr., who had been tasked with recovering at least some of the $100 million his bank had lent Trump, said “During the time that I dealt with Mr. Trump, I was continually surprised by his mastery of situational ethics. He does not seem to be able to differentiate between fact and fiction.” It is important to note here about the money owed, this was not a one-time occurrence with Trump, and why American banks no longer are willing to loan him money or deal with him financially. It is why we need a look at his finances so we can see just who our President owes money to and may be influenced because of it!

Trump said “I have a view—a view in my apartment that was specifically aimed at the World Trade Center.” He added “and I watched those people jump and I watched the second plane hit … I saw the second plane hit the building and I said, ‘Wow that’s unbelievable.” At the time, Trump lived in Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, more than four miles away from where the World Trade Center towers once stood. I cannot imagine anyone not thinking how immoral this man is to make such statements, not the only lies he told about that day either!

The situation is getting worse, as described by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ashley Parker: “President Trump seems to be saying more and more things that aren’t true.” As a matter one fact check entity created a new category of falsehoods in December 2018, the “Bottomless Pinocchio”, for falsehoods repeated at least twenty times (so often “that there can be no question the politician is aware his or her facts are wrong”). Trump was the only politician who met the standard of the category, with 14 statements that immediately qualified!

As fact-checker Glenn Kessler noted in August, whereas Clinton lies as much as the average politician, President Donald Trump’s lying is “off the charts.” No prominent politician in memory bests Trump for spouting spectacular, egregious, easily disproved lies. The birther claim. The vote fraud claim. The attendance at the inauguration claim. And on and on and on. Every fact-checker—Kessler, Factcheck.org, Snopes.com, PolitiFact—finds a level of prevarication (lying) unequaled by any politician ever scrutinized. For instance, 70 percent of his campaign statements checked by PolitiFact were mostly false, totally false, or “pants on fire” false!

I could go on and on, his life is chock full of lies, immorality, and actual theft! I know I have already reached the limit of endurance here, so I will ask the question and leave it at that.
