I am glad that women and even a man or two are finally coming forward and saying enough is enough! I am a man, a man who thinks women are the dominant species on this planet. Sure, we have bigger muscles in most cases, we are testosterone driven, which in certain instances makes us heroic, or mistaken for heroic! But in modern society, we pale in comparison to womenfolk in almost every other capacity as humans! Women can compete in almost any intellectual quest where a man and a woman have equal opportunities to succeed. Woman are less likely, in this authors opinion, to think war is an answer unless we are being directly attacked or threatened in some way that precludes negotiation or arbitration! A woman will not see everything as a competition, but more as an opportunity to learn and succeed! Forget the movie version of any competitive woman as a shrew!
So, having said that, women exist in a world where men control how successful they will be by an alarming percentile! This control is what, in my humble opinion, is why powerful men have gotten away with sexual harassment, or worse, with very little consequence. If a woman, say in the world of business, was to make it known that a man was being inappropriate or even sexually dangerous, steps would be taken to satisfy any regulations in place, but nothing of consequence to the man involved in most cases! The woman, in a disturbing amount of cases, are punished with job stagnation or outright dismissal after a period of time has passed where her job performance evaluations have gone from superlative to unacceptable after such an incident is reported.  So much so that she had to be let go! In the military, if you are a career-minded woman, making any charge of sexual harassment, even rape, is a career-ending decision in most cases!
So the fact that woman are finally coming forward, even though in most cases these are a woman who have waited until their careers were either secure or at their end, is heartening. That they are coming forward in numbers is also about damn time. So maybe I should clarify a few things here. All harassment is disgusting and uncalled for. But when it involves underage women I cannot tell you how enraged I become. So I welcome any and all exposure to any individuals who are suspect. Sure, some of it will be spurious, but when the sexual misconduct is brought to bear by multiple women about the same man, well that needs some serious and immediate consideration!
So now we come to a question I would like to put to you. Do you think these men, regardless of who they are, should be held accountable? Should these claims at least be investigated? And one last question, why is not Trump, who has at least a dozen accusers not under scrutiny. He has even been accused of rape. Now when you have a lot of money as Trump is reported to have, you can get away with a lot! So these women were up against it from the start! But the fact that so many came forward, well no matter how cynical you are, some have to have merit. And then there are the words of Trump himself bragging about his sexual misconduct! So where is the quid pro quo here since Trump is ignoring the Moore case but had no problem tweeting about Al Franken. So should he not be hoisted on his own petard!
